Shred is an exercise DVD called the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels from America's Biggest Loser - quite hard but really works. Its on you tube if you fancy a look.0 -

Evening
MiniCooper, Thanks for the welcome
If there are about 4 weeks to go then I will aim for 3lbs - I'd love to go for a lb a week but that gives me a bit of leeway
It would also take me temptingly close to 11stone - my first goal to be less than 11 st!
Have eaten carefully today:)
b-2 weetabix + skim milk & little sugar
l - 4 crispbread + muller light greek yoghurt
d- pepper stuffed with more pepper, onion, courgette & small leftover lasagne(hairy dieter style!)
s- apple & banana
e- walked the dog 3 times about 15 mins each
Also went to puppy training tonight. Our last class so we had "games" and over-excited puppies!:rotfl:0 -

Nat21LUV - Was I meant to have you on the list? If so I am really sorry, I seem to have missed you off, do you want adding on?
Didn't realise I asked people to weigh in a day early, sorry about that! What I meant to do was get on Friday morning and post the list with whoever had WI already then update today but I never got the time on Friday to start.
I STS, as expected and after 4 days in the caravan I probably gained a few too...
Ooops! I did post this yesterday but it looks like I edited the last list instead of reposting it, which really confused myself!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Morning ladies!
Just back from the park with the dog and got absolutely drenched - its awful out there!
Feel like I'm starting to wobble a little bit food wise over the last two days ( a millionaire's shortbread yesterday, the crisps the day before etc) so its back to basics today. I didn't go swimming yesterday either, got a request from the head teacher for some info and spent the day doing a massive report as I'm hoping for a promotion this academic year so wanted to make a good impression.;)
So no running today if this weather keeps up but I will swim instead if needed. The house needs a good clean too so that will burn off a few cals.
I'll pop to Mr T's later for a few bits for visitors arriving tomorrow and will pick up a few healthy things for me to try to keep me on the straight and narrow.
If you see me wavering slap me!0 -
Morning all and hello to the newbies :hello:
Been MIA again, and my diet has been carp, was being pulled along behind the wagon all weekend with me hanging on for dear life.:rotfl:I just find it so hard when the work shift pattern goes against my body clock and tiredness and stress = eat food. I must try and break the habit.
WW, you are an inspiration, gave up with the running on week 2. You've inspired me to start again, going to get my next run of shifts out of the way and try again.
Its shopping day today so going to go and stock up on lots of healthy stuff, plant my feet firmly back on the wagon and forget the last few days happened.
B: usual cereal and fruit
L: not surepasta, veggie sauce and salad
S: fruit only
Ex: 5 miles of dog walking and 30 min exercise dvd
Have a good day everyone, going to walk shammy before the rain starts.

Morning all
Failed to go swimming last night, was exhausted after work and fell asleep on the sofa instead!Didn't eat my planned pre-swimming snack though, and did manage to wake up enough to cook my planned dinner, so not too awful!
Pilates tonight, my last session before the new year, but will try and go for a swim on Thursday instead. Quiet weekend at home planned, so should be able to go a few times then as well.
Meals:
Breakfast: yoghurt, babybel
Lunch: ham and philly sandwich, apple, satsumas
Snacks: half granola bar, digestives & milk before Pilates
Dinner: pasta, red pesto, pancetta bits and red pepperLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Skulk’s back in, head hung in shame
Hi Folks, sorry I disappeared for a few weeks, but after doing this challenge since January I just lost it BIG TIME. I got so disappointed week after week after week of STS so decided not to be hard on myself and just have a bit of what I fancied when I fancied it, mostly crisps, biscuits - not just 1 or 2 but ½ a pkt at a time - oh and alcohol
I have been keeping an eye on the thread and noticed some of you were having a similar experience, but the tenacity and enthusiasm of others has made me determined to start chasing the wagon again….I have a bit of catching up to do….I hit “rock bottom” end of last week when I stepped on the scales and 5lbs  had crept on since my last weigh-in
So with renewed determination and the departure date for my holiday getting very close I thought I would “fess-up” and re-join the challenge for the next week and a bit. I started off this week on a very strict diet – not quite the “crash diet” but very close (approx 1000cals a day) – and after 5 days…….result managed to claw back 2½ of the 5lbs that had crept on.
I also lost the motivation to exercise and admire those of you doing the Couch to 5k – afraid I don’t have the knees or ankles for running but I will cheer you on from the side-lines.
As I’ve started menu planning again – here’s todays
B – Hot water with lemon, Boiled Egg, Oatcake
L – Ham salad, grapefruit
D – Baked Fish, steamed broccoli, carrots and asparagus.
S – banana, pearJan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Sept Grocery spends = £304.88
Oct - Grocery spends = £ 31.010
