Thanks Jammy - hadn't thought about soups, good idea!
Just back from a 4k run and found it much easier this time and ended up with a better time and feeling like I could carry on. Will do 4.6K next time (on Monday, swimming tomorrow) by adding another loop to the run. www.runmyroute.com is really good for mapping runs and walks, I've now got a little library of runs so I don't get bored with the same journey every time.
Its the 5K run next weekend (how did that creep up so quickly?) so I need to get to somewhere near the distance by then - everyone says that if you can run 80% of the distance you can run the full route on the day as you're swept along with the excitement of it all. I'd like to do just one 5K or near to it by then though to prove to myself it can be done.
Off to update myfitnesspal.......:)0 -

Just had tea and was quite miffed when I added up the cals as I thought it was a fairly good meal - quorn burger in a wholemeal bap with 30g cheese, 100g left over anya potatoes made into potato salad with 1 tsp of low cal mayo, spinach, cucumber and tomato - 600 cals!!!
To be fair the cheese "cost" over 100 cals and could have been done without .
Hmmm, we live and learn.
Next time the burger will be without the bun - 200 cals and I'm not that fussed on bread.:mad:0 -
It has not stopped thunder and lightening all day. I like a good thunder storm, but maybe a break from the monsoon like rains?
Pre-gym B: Crumpets with LS jam
Post-gym B: 8 ritz crackers
L: large baked spud with tikka chicken (tried the extra light mayo too)LF sausages with potatoes gratin (had a lot of milk to use up)
S: 3 squares of chocolate
E: 1hr zumba, 1 hr haphazard on the gym floor: squats, ab crunches, push ups, lunges, everything. My arms ache and my abs hurt. Then a 2 mile walk to the shops. But I had to keep stopping for shelter on the way back - the rain was so heavy!!
I have an upset stomach once again, but can't seem to find any connection in what I'm eating. Is it possible that the exercise is upsetting my stomach?0 -
Yesterday was very bad as i was out and about with the OH which always leads to temptation so i'm still going to list everything as i think writing it down will help me.
B- slice of toast, LF yog w/ granola & raisins
2nd B- 1/2 Sausage sandwich then they were giving out free bacon baps to watch eric bristow at a betting shop we passed so i had one oopps
L- 1/2 BLT sandwich & 3 chips
T-1 poppodom, chicken curry, rice, 2 chapatis(the curry house didn't give you cutlery so you had to eat it with the chapatis)
Snacks-Bottle of beer, 2 cups of tea, 2 tirimisus
Exercise; Running after a toddler in a museum all day-does that count?
I will do better today though have in laws round for sunday lunch and they're bringing the pudding and booze!!! So will try and make the roast low fat.
NB Going to the media museum is a good way to see yourself in mirrors/on screen/in lenses to remind yourself how chubby you are and MUST lose weight!!!!0 -

Hopefully with the sun out today I can do some exercise - will have to work extra hard its now 3 weeks till my holiday and I wanted to be a certain weight by then.
