Chelle - I'd be concerned that you're not eating enough to be healthy. (Well done on the 3lbs!) In your last food diary there was only 800 cals and no real substance to any meal. Myfitnesspal encourages you to eat a minimum of 1200 cals and those you burn from exercise and its worked for me. Please don't be afraid to eat or starve yourself. You will lose weight eating more calories.
I'm off shopping for some new work clothes today - I'm not going to get dramatically thinner between now and the beginning of term so will have to bite the bullet and brave the shops. To be honest I'm a bit nervous about what sizes to try - I know it sounds daft but I'll be very disappointed if the smaller size doesn't fit now. Fingers crossed.
I hate shopping so will treat myself to a 6inch Subway while I'm out - all the cals for the subs are on the website and a lot of them are around 350 cals so easily accommodated into the day's allowance.
Will report back later with the shopping verdict.....0 -
Morning all
Welcome cocalls
Well done everyone on the losses this week.:T
Welshwoofer, I hate shopping too, good luck today, you've done so well over the last few weeks, which is far more important than a dress size. If the size is not as you expect, just cut out the label.:rotfl:
Weighed myself this morning and its a loss for me, will just add the numbers up and post amount next week.
Plan for today:
B: usual all bran and fruit
L: have bits of veg to use up, so will probs, dry fry it in a pan to warm it thru and add a small tin of sardines and some chilli sauce. (Its nicer than it sounds, honest)haddock portion in parsley sauce (from freezer), new pots and veg
S: yoghurt & fruit
Ex: 5 miles of dog walking, 30 min cardio DVD
Hope everyone has a good day.

Back from shopping (or torture as I like to call it!) and it was, on the whole, quite successful.
The highlights include a size 10 work dress from Debenhams, a size 10 suit (trousers in a 10 too, not a 12 as before) from Next, a pair of part patent court shoes in a half size smaller (feet appear to have shrunk!) and a red blazer in a 10 from H&M! I also got a couple of tops that I haven't tried on yet (lost the will to live) that I can take back next week if I don't like them.
Even though I'm a good stone lighter than the last time I went shopping it was still a horrible experience trying things on - why do they make the changing rooms so traumatic with the lighting, tiny cubicles and stick thin 5 yr old assistants?
A thumbs up to Subway too - they now display the cals for all of the sandwiches on the board and most of them are surprisingly good - if you add sauce you have to add cals but I noticed that the basic ham, turkey etc salad one was only 278 cals. Have that with a diet coke for £3 and its not a bad lunch. Well done Subway:T0 -
Sorry I didn't notice we were meant to WI yesterday - glad I missed it because I have gained 1lb!
I can see how, I've not been as careful this week and didn't keep up replacing meals with cereals as planned. I have been doing lots more moving around than usual with my decorating and demessying upstairs, so if I am careful this week I should lose a pound or two.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Well done on the successful shopping trip welshwoofer!
Chelle, I agree with WW - your days eating doesn't look like a lot. Was this a one off day, or a typical day?
Had a site visit today, so lots of walking around - got home early too! There was no point going back to the office at 3, I have a lot to do, but really didn't fancy the BH rush hour, and I've already done more than my hours this week!
B: Crumpets with LS jam
L: ham salad sandwichHM Chicken Tikka with rice (no bad stuff)
S: 7 oatcakes (oops!) - think it's dehydration0 -
As I'll be going back to work in a week or so I'm a bit concerned about falling off the wagon after a long day at the chalkface;).
So in order to try to avoid this I thought I'd spend a bit of time next week making some "ready meals" to go in the freezer that are diet friendly and microwaveable when I get back from dog walking after work. I have loads of old takeaway containers that my mum passed on to me so have portion sized boxes and quite a bit of room in the chest freezer.
Now I'm a bit of an awkward one as I'm a vegetarian (who does eat cheese, milk and eggs but no meat or fish) and as you know am not a brilliant cook.
So my question to you supercooks is what can I make in bulk that can be frozen and is fairly low cal?
I thought I'd do a bean chilli (one of the only things that actually tastes nice when I make it!), maybe a curry but other than that I'm stumped.
What do you lovely ladies suggest? Any help is appreciated (even better if you want to cook it for me!:rotfl:)0
