  • Hi All

I'd like to join in this thread as I need to lose weight but I leap of the wagon daily - for pretty much anything that looks tempting! So I'm trying to get a grip and at least stop eating so much rubbish.

    So far I've had

    B - 2 x weetabix ss milk
snack - 2 lemon and raisin scotch pancakes (yum)
Lunch - A frikkedellan thinly sliced with salad (cucumber, tomato, red onion, mushroom)
Then still hungry so I friend up some onions and tomato and mushrooms

Tea - chicken and salad again

I'm trying to cut out bread too, but I'm still hungry so think I'll end up having a supper - probably boiled egg on toast.

I don't know ... cup of tea and a biscuit (packet of!!)

And if say your waist - where do you measure (ie belly button, slimmest part etc).

    Thinking of tracking both.

    Thanks

    Chelle

Hi I measure round my waist at the thinnest part and around my stomach around the belly button- fattest part

    Hi everyone

Think I will put myself down for 1/2lb a week until the end of the challenge, whenever that is lol. 1lb is just too much.

B: two a*da wheat bisks with whole milk and around a teaspoon of sugar (forgot to add this yesterday)
    S: an apple
L: HM lentil and veg soup with HM bread
    S: a banana
D: HM vegetarian shepherd's pie, made with chopped carrot, parsnip and onion, plus red lentils, with bisto and topped with Parmesan mash.

E: body combat exercise class (knackered now!)

Proud i resisted the MASSES of sweet stuff at work. My OH came home with a big bar of dairy milk which is just looking at me, but I'll resist for now...

Need to get digital scales as I've been relying on the ones in the gym which don't really show half lb losses easily.

    Evening All

I didn't manage to post yesterday as I had a migraine and had to resort to lying down in a dark room for the whole of the evening. I don't know whether it's the after effects but I seem to have had the munchies today.

B/L: Omelette filled with sauteed spinach and beetroot leaves, garlic and tiny onion thinnings and melted cheese. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
D: Chicken with mushrooms and courgette in a creamy paprika sauce with green beans. HM chocolate mousse.
Snack: Cadbury's fudge. HM scone with butter.

Exercise: Not a lot, just a walk to the Co-Op and back. I've had a very domesticated day today and got my sewing machine out and made a couple of aprons for DGD to use when painting and baking. I've also baked and ironed so been a real domestic goddess!!

    Evening all :)

    B - F&F, sk milk
    L - chicken mayo sandwich
D - chicken thigh, asparagus, mange tout, fine beans, tablespoon hummous. A bit of a mixture but going away on Friday and need clear the fridge out.
    S - melon
E - walked miles on the guided tour around Wembley Stadium, then zip wired across it at 25mph! I still can't believe I've done it but have the photos to prove it :)

They weigh everyone to make sure they're not over the maximum of 18 stone, their scales are wonderful as they made me 8 1/2stone, 1/2 stone lighter than I am. Rotten lot wouldn't let me have them as a souvenier though :(

Worn out and having trouble keeping my eyes open so will say night night now, sleep tight :)

The diet gods have spoken to me!
Today my toaster blew up fusing the house:eek: That will teach me to think "hmmmm, toast....." when I'm trying to cut down on carbs:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Otherwise a good day - been swimming, stuck to cals and done quite a bit of walking (oh and had 5 a day!)

And if say your waist - where do you measure (ie belly button, slimmest part etc).

I measure a few places, tried my waist (where the belly button is), but found it was too easy to get different readings, so went for the thinnest bit, and also the biggest bit around my hips. Also measure my chest as up by my armpits, but you can do around the bra line if you prefer, and I try to do my thighs too.

Had a nice site visit today, noticing I can completely do my high vis up now - I could barely make the edges meet this time last year!

    B: Toast with spread
L: tuna salad sandwich, small apple
D: Macaroni cheese (using up milk before it goes bad) and 3 oatcakes
S: small slice of cake - may as well after the macaroni!

E: 3 hours of walking about site, 1hr at my 1st body pump class, that was a shock to the system, followed by 5 mins on the treadmill.
