Taken myself and the lappy to bed for an early night
but how is this old bird supposed to sleep when I can't stop chuckling at msmanx's post?! I love cooking but as there's only me it's not as much of a pleasure as when the family were all at home....oh, I know , I'll send msmanx and manx jnr a home made food parcel, to save their digestive systems! :rotfl:

Can I have a food parcel too please? I'm a useless cook too - cooking for me is usually heating up, opening salad packs and the odd curry/chilli!
Nature has finally taken its course and I'm far less bloated and have done a sneaky weigh and am back to where I was before the hols. Feel much better now - no hard round tummy;)
Today's exercise will be another run, its cooler today so hopefully it will be a bit easier. I'm also popping to town to pick up some hair dye and a few beauty bits and will have a look to see if there's any nice work clothes around - there's not too many shops in my little suburb though so may have to do a trip to the Trafford Centre next week. Fingers crossed for the sizing!0 -
Oh lore i'm stiff Today. Shorter trip to the gym today!
Msmanx try the hamlyn student cookbook - loads of good recipes including a budget selection.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Morning everyone and thanks for the welcome.
Apparently I have about 2 stone to lose but I cant see that really happening as it seems a very low weight (that is the lowest of my 'normal' weight). I go to Tesco and get myself weighed every week so will start doing that on Friday mornings. My BMI is 26.6 and should be between 20 and 24.9 and I need to lose between a stone / stone and half. I get a little slip out the machine with all the readings and stapled it in my 'diet diary'.
For the sake of this challenge I am aiming for 2 lbs a week which I know may get harder as I go along. I lost 2 lbs last week but will target 10lbs for the challenge as I am also off on holiday for a week in 3 weeks time
I struggle with breakfast and have been inspired by some ideas on here so thank you.0 -

Morning all
Happy Birthday SSM, did a little low cal, low carb, low fat cyber bake for you..:bdaycake:, have a super day
Msmanx/WW I had an idea that I'd like to start a catering company in a small way, dinner parties etc, in my retirement, but not so sure it would work long distance
B _F&F sk milk
L - bits of salad. Apple
D - salmon pasta, asparagus tips, tomato/mozzarella salad, green herby salad. Pud will be fresh raspberries, blueberries, sugar free rasp jelly and rf Carte D'Or vanilla ice cream (my favourite)
S - maybe melon or nana if I have time
E - gym this morning, running round like a headless chicken later as DS, his OH and her 15 y/o boy are coming this afternoon.
May not be posting tomorrow as they're taking me to London for my belated birthday present, zip-wiring over Wembley stadium . Perhaps I'd better not have any breakfast tomorrow? Doesn't bear thinking about! :rotfl:

good morning folks
fine to have days off after a hectic long weeend in work , had been very good taking my pack ups and sticking to it..not even so much as a biscuit with my cuppa on break:j
have been recording intake on phone app myfitnesspal to keep track of calories carbs etc
am thrilled as i have strated week 4 of Couch 2 5 K this morning , was apprehensive as runs go up from 3 mins to 5 mins with shorter rests and my usual route is closed as cattle are being moved on the track so i had to use the road which was more undulating but I managed it fine
Happy birthday to SSM , sparrer love the sound of zip wire what a fine birthday present i have done it on a long one at a go ape place and it was such fun:D
