morning
My weekend was bad in that we took OH mum for Sunday dinner and I only had one roast potatoe, no YP BUT had apple pie and custard. My downfall is crisps, biscuits and cake from the canteen! So have abstained from that for 2 weeks now. I dont really like fruit except grapes and bananas and dont like yoghurt although trying to train myself to eat it.
Finding time for exercise is another problem as although I have horses which I need to see to morning and night - one is retired and one is currently off with an injury. I take the dogs with me and they sort of exercise themselves whilst I am sorting feed etc. I tried running around the paddock but it killed an old ankle injuryBorrowed an exercise bike from a relative but it kills an old back injury
lol SO, making myself get up every hour at work (sitting desk job) and walk around the building and up and down the stairs
Its got to count for something surely?
B = oats with ss milk
S = grapes
L = jacket potatoe with low fat cottage cheese, lettuce and tomatoe, ww pudding (kills my chocolate craving for the afternoon)
Supper - chilli meatballs and pasta
Also trying to up my water intake - aiming for a 1ltr today during work.
have a good day everyone.0 -

Hi all, I'm back from my holidays visiting family in Yorkshire/Scarborough and have fallen off the healthy eating wagon whilst I've been awayHave had fish and chips twice, chinese takeaway, indian takeaway, 2 x BBQ where I ate enough meat for a week, 3 x fry ups and at least 3 x ice cream plus cake and trifle  In fact I think my body has rebelled as I got bad stomach day before I came home. However I did go swimming twice doing 20 lengths each time, and do loads of walking on NYorks moors.
I got on the scales the morning after I got home and I'm sure they were having a having a laugh because they said I'd lost 2lb, but after a day of "normal" eating yesterday, and a chinese last night (:o) and lounging around on sofa all day I am back to pre-holiday weight today.... so am planning on eating sensibly for next few days with a hope that I have sts at fridays weigh in.... I've had a few days of sciatica (not sure if from swimming or playing games on floor with 6yo nephew) which has now settled down thankfully, so am back to just walking again now.
Plans for today
B- weetbix with skimmed milk
L - ham salad & rice
D - gammon, new potatoes, salad, tinned sweetcorn, pineapple. Yoghurt.
snacks if needed will be fruit.
Exercise - will walk for about 40 - 60 mins

Just a little motivation for us all
I have had breakfast today for the first time in ages so will see how that works out. I had greek yogurt, raspberries and a tiny drizzle of honey.
Still haven't managed to get rid of the extra pound I gained for my birthday so I am only aiming for a STS this week (ie get rid of that pound) so have to be very good today.
Off to BFF's house to help her with her kids as she had a big OP last week and is still feeling weak. Taking her chocolate which I will not eat (chose ones I don't like, genius!) and flowers and will be doing LOTS of housework (she doesn't know this yet, but her OH's idea of clean and mine differs rather a lot!) so hopefully get some exercise.
Will be posting the list quite early tomorrow and they we are away until Tuesday (caravan at Festival of Transport) so if you don't get in in time I WILL get it done next week.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Morning all!
Had a rubbish nights sleep and woke up feeling groggy and a bit lazy, so I took myself off to the water park with the dog and had a brisk 40 mins walk around the lake. Feel much better now. Its also swimming day today so will drag myself off to the pool later for a quick 50 lengths.
Yesterday was ok food wise I stayed within the cal allowance and did quite a bit of dogwalking and a 4k run.
I'm hoping that today will be as good but I woke up hungry and need to control the scoffing.0 -

Mirry, butterbeans (and other types of bean) are a good replacement/bulker for meat in a curry. They're great in stews too or casseroles to bulk them out. Or you could use them instead of chickpeas to make an extra creamy houmous.0 -
What parts of the body do you measure?
And if say your waist - where do you measure (ie belly button, slimmest part etc).
Thinking of tracking both.
Thanks

HI chelle I dont "measure" but i reckon bits measured are individual, as some folk have problem areas that others dont
though my trousers are fitting more comfortably
I would say measure wherever you feel you need to loose so if its hips measurte those, upper arms...do those , thighs etc etc
then keep a record and you can track the results ( note where you measured though to get the right readings )
just my thoughts
