Ragz - I was doing a similar pattern to you but eating most of my calories (about 700) at lunch as I dont tend to eat a lot after 5 due to tummy troubles. I was feeling great for the first couple of days but just started feeling really dizzy when standing, that led to momentary blacking out which led to a big faint. Now as you might remember I do have health problems but never thought it would effect me like this. Yes I lost 3lbs which I have all but put back on now Im back to my usual pattern which is about 1300 cal a day - so not excessive:(
Welsh woofer - lovely to see you back and very glad you had a good holiday xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Morning all
What a scorcher this weekend was! I spent most of it in the shade with a fan, really not keen on hot weather.Anything over about 22°C is too hot for me! :rotfl: Feeling more human now that it's cooled down here. Didn't eat much over the weekend, as the heat killed my appetite completely, so had to force myself to eat.
Plan for today:
Breakfast: yoghurt, babybel
Lunch: cheese salad sandwich, wotsits, apple, satumas
Snacks: bakewell tart, nectarine
Dinner: dry fried halloumi, houmous, roasted peppers and rocket in a white pitta. Green salad on the side.
Exercise: PilatesLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Thanks Molly - its nice to be back in my own bed.:)
Well, I've just jumped on the scales and it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. I think I've put on about a 1lb and a lot of the flabby feeling was water retention as that seems to be a lot better today.
I think I'll leave an official weigh in until Friday and then hope for a STS from where I was before I went away. So I'd better be good between now and then!
I went shopping yesterday afternoon and have plenty of good stuff in so really have no excuse. I need to get back to some serious exercise too so will hopefully get a run in today. (I did swim and do 1 run on hols but it was nowhere near as energetic as I would usually be).
Right, first task of the day - get the dog walked!0 -

Hi Everyone
Welcome back WW- Glad you had a nice time
Well yesterday 'hangover Sunday' was a disaster, think cheese sandwichs, crisps, a twirl bar, a couple of crumpets dripping with butter etc etc etcand I still feel abit carp today
This week is going to be tough with one thing and another but here is my plan to overcome these temptations:
Today- feel like poop but am eating mega heathly resistng naughty snacks and am going to make myself do the shred later
Tomorrow- its my Birthday and I have brought a huge choc cake for work- I will have ONE SMALL slice and be good for the rest of the day including going swimming
Wednesday: Am out on the road with a collegue so will be a pub lunch- I will have the healthest thing on offer and treat this as my main meal of the day and have a 'light' tea
Weekend- Im off Friday and Monday and will be out and about (OH bday monday) so promise to eat as well as possible and still do exercise
Thought Id write that down to commit to my plans rather than use this week as an excuse to pig out
Sorry if I have bored you to tears :rotfl:O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -
Hi guys
especially ragz
I'm afraid I might have to bow out of this challenge - the weight loss just doesn't seem to be happening, despite me eating less processed food and exercising more. I think it might be a case of having more muscle now - my body definitely feels stronger and more toned, although the scales won't budge. It's starting to make me a bit sad weighing in, even though I know it's how I look and feel that counts, not what shows on the scales. I certainly feel and look better than when I started the last challenge, and since then have lost around 9lbs, so I don't really see this as a failure. I'll keep lurking on the thread and posting from time to time.
Good luck all for the rest of the challenge and I'll keep you posted if I do manage to shift any more weight!! It's been a pleasure to talk to all you lovely people. :beer:0 -
EllaRose could you run a challenge along side with inch loss rather than weight being the ideal?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
