    Morning all :)

Yesterday went mostly to plan, except I was starving when I got in so had an extra snack, a babybel and an apple, as I felt like I was going to pass out! Think baby's having a growth spurt as tummy feels all stretched today, like i've done too many ab curls!

    Today's meals:
    Breakfast: nectarine, babybel, yoghurt
Lunch: sandwich from canteen, wotsits, apple, satsumas
Snacks: half granola bar, plums, small cake bar
    Dinner: HM pizzas
    Little monkey born November 2012:j
    Froglet due March 2016 :D

    Morning all :)

Out with DD to shop for a wedding outfit after gym so will add lunch later, but so far...

    B - F&F, sk milk
L - tba - had a BKing bacon burger. It was hot, can't say much else about it. and a few of the chips - not very impressed with them at all
T - Soup as I made a big pan yesterday, and a wholewheat roll, half with marmite, half marmalade.
    S - melon, apple, kiwi
E - 45 mins circuit training - plus walking round the nearby big town trying on clothes. Hate it as I'm not that interested in clothes but it has to be done, for my lovely sister's wedding in Aug :D eta tried on 11 outfits and goodness knows how many pairs of shoes. In a nutshell, I'm kn@ckered!

The bright thing is shining, long may it last. Have a sunny day :)

    morning all :D
i did post yesterday but it seemed to have disappeared.
yesterday was ok after a not great weekend (too many G&Ts at a 'do' :o)
i also went back to the gym for the first time in a month yesterday, ive had a bad back but i've come to the conclusion that not exercising isn't helping so i need to try and get back to it properly!
    plan for today is:
porridge with added flax seeds & strawberries
beans on 2x soya & linseed toast with salad
i think dinner will be chicken salad with boiled eggs maybe.
snacks will be frresh cherries (probably too many as once i start, i cant stop :o)

hope you are all having a good one

    Morning :)

Went in the gym yesterday after 3 weeks of lethargy - bloody hell it was hard. I couldn't believe how weak I'd become in such a short space of time!

    Today's plan:
B: Banana, honey and blueberry HM smoothie (not as good as it sounds!), 2 slices toast with butter
L: That curried squash lentil and coconut soup everyone likes!
D: Goat's cheese and walnut salad
    S: Apple, almonds
    :)

Peanut butter! Often scrambled eggs and bacon, or an omelette but today we had no eggs so I had 3 spoonfuls of peanut butter and that kept me full until lunchtime :rotfl:

Greek yogurt is good, with nuts or seeds instead of fruit. (I had been having tinned peaches but they were too high sugar for me at the moment). Berries aren't too bad for sugar content, but the kids tend to eat them all!

I definitely need more inspiration on the breakfast front, but I am usually rushing about making breakfasts for DH and 3 little ones so a spoonful or two of the brown stuff works quite well! I tend to have a milky coffee, half full fat milk half strong filter coffee and that's quite filling as it has fat and some protein. I notice the difference if I just have tea.

The site I linked to the other day has some breakfast recipes (admittedly mostly with eggs!), the bacon wrapped scotch eggs look GOOD ;)

    Today
    Breakfast - the brown stuff
Lunch - Bolognese sauce with feta cheese crumbled on it.
    Snack - Greek yogurt
Dinner - Cauliflower cheese (cheese sauce made with bacon, brie, Camembert and cheddar but no flour!)

Thanks Ragz!! I do like eggs but just dont feel I should eat eggs everyday! I like peanut butter but think id like it with something more than just the spoon :rotfl:

  • Hello All

Struggling a bit today, as I'm tired. Every time I walk into the kitchen I can hear the chocolate in the cupboard shouting 'eat me' lol:rotfl:but so far have resisited and only eaten whats on my plan.

    So today:
B: all bran, kiwi & grapes
    L: l/o hm curry & rice, apple
D: salad, new potatoes and tinned sardines, yoghurt
    S: banana, pineapple

Exercise: 40 min walk with shammy dog this morning, 30 mins planned later. Will also do 30 min dvd as it hopefully will stop me sitting in front of tele eating the said same chocolate!!

Realised yesterday I must be walking quicker than I used to as shammy dog ( who likes to dawdle sniffing every lampost!) sat in the middle of the path and refused to budge until he had had a rest, half way through our walk. :o

:rotfl:DaisyDayDream poor shammy must be worn out

    For today

breakfast - weetbics banana skimmed milk
lunch - leftover roast dinner. Slice of pork, mini roast potatoes cooked in 1cal spray, veg and gravy out of freezer
    lf yoghurt
dinner - lemon chicken cous cous padded out with grated courgette, onion, mushroom, peppers, tinned sweetcorn
    snacks - apple, 2 satsumas

Exercise - ended up sat on my rather considerable rear last night, didnt go for a walk and didnt do the ironing !! Feel really tired even though I am sleeping better than I have done for ages. Am going to force myself to go for a walk in a minute, want to do at least 20 minutes in the fresh air

update 9.41pm - did manage the 20 mins but blimey my legs are aching ! After the euphoria (sp?) of being able to exercise for first time in about a year I feel knackered ... I think the novelty has worn off !!! Will stick at it though

Day 2 of my 2 day detox - head feels a bit fuzzed, but I feel good. I've not had all that many sweet cravings but I've enjoyed having a reason (other than 'you shouldn't') to not eat much of it, and so might continue my little detox for a couple of weeks until I make sure they're all gone.

B: Toast with LF creme cheese + 2 kiwis
L: Tuna sandwich, banana, apple (all seeded bread)
D: Adzuki bean and vegetable bake with 2 slices of toast and reduced sugar jam for desert
S: 1 apple, 1 banana, 4 chocolate truffles (I didn't lose all my sweet cravings!)

No extra exercise today, I have so much work to do, I had to bring some of it home. Off on a business trip for 2 days (excited as it's my first!!) which means half the work week is wasted, and I'll have to be careful not to eat/drink to much. Back in time for weigh in fri!

    Evening Folks

Thankfully it’s been another dry day here so exercise has been a shred session in the morning and getting the grass cut and other bits and pieces done in the garden this afternoon.

I think I’ve also done pretty well with my meals today –
B – lf Greek Yoghurt & Stewed Rhubarb
L – Curried Butternut Squash Soup, Toast
    D – Asparagus & Pea Risotto
    S – Banana

Didn't have time for proper exercise yesterday and didn't manage my 10,000 steps either. Had so many good intentions for this evening but instead I've had my backside glued to the sofa and haven't lifted a finger since dinner - haven't even gotten round to putting the dishes in the dishwasher yet. I'm trying to work out the best way of fitting in a shred session - in the kitchen via youtube on my tiny netbook or dvd on the TV in the living room with OH, ahem *encouraging* from the sofa. In case you can't tell, don't want to go in the kitchen but can't figure out how to kick OH out to give me some peace either!
