    Okay, so today's meals are:

B - Granola with dried berries and low fat yoghurt
    L - Egg on toast
D - Last night's leftovers of spring chicken with vegetables

If I get hungry between I've got some grapes to eat. Also, am trying to limit myself to 2 cups of tea and 1 diet coke today - must drink more water! All in all, calories come in at well below 1500 so along with my zumba, I should be on track

With the running exercise thing - can you go somewhere by car to do it? Sort of drive to a park and then exercise? Just a thought.

I have a question for all those further down the line than I am - does the being desperately hungry ease off? I get so hungry! I know I shouldn't, I'm eating 'normally' - but to be fair I've eaten gluttonously for so long that I'm still hungry even when I know I've eaten more than most people would do (IYSWIM).

Yesterday I'd eaten breakfast (two weetabix and milk) - lunch (two ham and tomato rolls) a snack (peas and a banana) and I was so hungry by 6 o'clock I felt sick!

Which is ridiculous - my OH had eaten nothing all day and he was fine.

Is it because I'm so used to over-eating do you think? Will it wear off? Or am I doing something terribly wrong?

I would say that's your blood sugar. Weetabix and rolls are high in carbs, cause spikes in blood sugar, then insulin, then drop in blood sugar causing extreme hunger, irritability etc. If you'd had more protein and fat you'd be more satisfied for longer and probably eat less overall. Peas and bananas may sound like a healthy snack but they have a lot of sugar so they won't keep you full they will make you feel hungry quite soon too. Nuts, cheese, peanut butter etc have more protein/fat and would keep you full longer.

Of course a lot of it is habit too, if you are used to eating more and simply 'being on a diet' tends to make us think of food a LOT more. But keeping your blood sugar stable makes it all a LOT easier. Since I have been cutting back on carbs and cutting out sugar as much as I can I find the compulsive 'I MUST eat' feelings have gone.

I must remember to come on daily! lol.

The weekend wasn't too bad... we had dinner from the chip shop friday night though.

    Today's meal plan is:

    B - Porridge & Orange Juice
    L - Homemade soup
D - Homemade fish cakes & homemade chips

Snacks - Fruit and cups of tea (with sweetex) if I have any that is.

Exercise: Planning on doing some sessions on Wii Sports Tennis, possibly an exercise dvd or something else. Not 100% sure yet!

I re-weighed myself Saturday night and my weight was less than Friday, but by less than 1 lb so I'm guessing it was just bad luck that it weighed more Friday.. so I've amended my weight loss record so I've not put any on :D

    Afternoon All,

:j :j It’s been dry all day….so far, got washing out & dry, garden rid of weeds and even managed to do a Shred session – I’m blinded by my shining halo!! :A

Meals have been ok too –
B – lf Greek Yoghurt & Stewed Rhubarb
L – Pitta Bread stuffed with Salad and Feta Cheese
D - Need to use up some sad looking beansprouts and asparagus so with the addition of some peppers, courgettes, and green beans looks like it will be a huge portion of Stir Fried Vegetables.

    Evening All,

It's been raining here nearly all day. I went out for a run in a dry spell but came home looking like a drowned rat!

    B: Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
L: Omelette filled with mushrooms, HG spinach and beetroot leaves, parsley and garlic and grated cheese.
D: Boneless pork loin chop with roasted butternut squash, roasted red pepper, green beans and mushrooms. HM chocolate mousse.

    5644690.jpg

Snack: Several handfuls of pistachio nuts.

Exercise: 7.5 miles run/walk (2 min:1 min ratio). By the time I have walked to work 3 miles of walking. 40 lengths (1km) at the swimming pool.

I am a MyFitnessPal convert! Sat down and went through it properly last night and am now hooked.

I've logged my cals eaten and burnt for yesterday and today and its a real eye opener. Yesterday wasn't bad but today has been poor - mainly due to being in a bad mood at school and scoffing more than a few biscuits:o
Still just within cal allowance for the day (but only just) and feel a bit yukky, still need to eat something tonight but not hungry yet.
I will force myself to do the Shred L2 tonight, hopefully that will stop me feeling guilty and give me a kick up the bum.

I'm on a trip to Blackpool tomorrow with school ( just seen the forecast and even the weather man said it would be "dire")so not looking forward to that and will try hard to not go berserk with food although I am at the mercy of what's available.
