My day panned out quite differently to how I expected it to so I'll just post a complete new day....
Breakfast - Nature Valley bar (191 cals)
Lunch - 3 cracker breads (60 cals), 2 cheese triangles (75 cals), 2 satsumas (50 cals)
Tea - tikka massala and rice "low cal" ready meal (450 cals)
Snack - cheese ball crisps (about 300 cals:o)
Total so far....1126 cals
May have some strawberries to get some more fruit in me later on.
Exercise - 4 mile walk with dogs, 25 min walk with dogs, Couch to 5K end of week 2 run in new trainers (not very "go faster" as it turns out:rotfl:). Hope that will go some way to correcting the sins of yesterday.
I need to make lunch for tomorrow - may be lazy and just go for the crackerbread and cheese with fruit option.0 -
We didn't have the chili after all so today looks like;
B - 2 weetabix, milk, no sugar
L - 2 rolls, ham and tomato
Snack - fresh peas from the garden eaten from the pods as I weeded... and a banana
D - Sweet and Sour (homemade) pork with rice and tortillas.

Evening all
LittleMoog I agree, wasn't it good in Beds today? How nice to have the doors/windows open and not have the carpets get wet!
Day 1 of the new challenge and I've had a huge blow-out. However I'm good all week so on Sundays I eat more or less what I want - although today it was more, rather than less!
B - F&F, sk milk
D - Seafood tagliatelli with garlic bread. Chocolate peanut butter stack with fresh cream
T - Nothing
S - Melon, nana
E - Ironing, gardening
Good luck on the new challenge everyone!0 -
Forgive me if I'm being stupid, but when does the Autumn challenge run from - til? I've said I want to lose 2.8 lbs, but may up this if there's a reasonable length of time before the end of the challenge0

Lovely! If I have 11 weeks then ideally I'd like to lose 7.8 lbs to take my weight down to a healthy (for my height) 110 lbs, which is in the low range of a healthy BMI. Lots of healthy eating and exercise from now on!
As an aside, are there others who are nervous about going jogging / running because they live in a dodgy area? I really love to run but live in a rougher-than-rough area and one of my friend's OH got mugged on the street next to mine on Friday
I really can't afford a gym membership, but aren't comfortable about exercising outside around here either, how do others cope?
Also, I suppose I should start noting down my diet too:
B - Nothing, naughty I know
L - Two slices of pizza and oven chips (it's the weekend lol)
D - Spring vegetable stew with 1 slice of bread and margarine - Peas, spring onions, onion, spinach, chicken, water and herb stock so pretty healthy really
I've also managed to keep my water intake up, although have been slightly naughty with caffeine, 2 cups of tea and 3 small glasses of diet coke.
It's been a bit of a naughty day really, but I aim to be more disciplined during the week.0 -
Also, I'm an absolute mashed potato fiend, I love them (I'm a bit like badger, from Bodger & Badger if anyone remembers that :rotfl:) but they're pretty high calories / carbs. I saw a recipe earlier where you substitute most of the potato for cauliflower, tried it out and it tastes LUSH and is one of your 5 a day, yey!0

Morning!
I have a confession already...I forgot I was on the challenge until I remembered last night :rotfl:
So, starting [STRIKE]again[/STRIKE] today then :T
Brekkie - hm muesli
Lunch - LO sausage in a small wm bun, crisps
Dinner - freezer surprise but smells like lamb curry, so will have that with a small amount of brown rice
Have a good day, everyone!
