Clothes sizes don't seem to be a problem for me. I've been down at 69kg and up to 75kg and still wear the same clothes. There are a few which are too clingy at my current size and some which are unfortuneately baggy when I am at the lower end of the weight range. But for the most part, I don't seem to change size much, I just firm up or flab around too much.

Shoes on the other hand are a major issue. I have a pair at size 4.5 which are too big. I have size 7s which fit comfortably. I have to try on all sorts of different sizes in shoe shops to decide whether that style is actually going to fit me!

No idea what I've eaten today but starting off with the shred before breakfast has definitely made me wanna eat more through the day. Perhaps I should have had a slice of toast before I started!

Well I can safely say today has been a write off - all went well until I went to the gathering of teacher friends this afternoon/evening. You name it, I ate it, Nuts, crisps, 2 small millionaire slices, 3 glasses of low alcohol wine, small cupcake and a bit of salad to cancel it all out:rotfl:

Back on the wagon tomorrow - hopefully an evening off won't be disasterous? I did swim this morning and walk for about an hour and tomorrow will be straight back on the wagon. Good job I don't do this sort of this every weekend - enjoyed it though:p

    Hi, All

Can I come back again, too? I'm hoping I'm over my horrible stressful time at work that took over my life and left me no energy for anything else. Fingers crossed, anyway...

I'm going to be sensible and go for 7lbs for this challenge.

Good luck everyone, we can do it!

    LB xx

    Evening All

A quick post as I have only just got back in from work. It started early with stripping a wet bed at 5 am, up early and dancing to 12 replays of the Wheels on the Bus by 7.30am and an extra stint at work this afternoon as it was so busy. As you might imagine, I am very tired now.

    B: Raspberries with Greek yoghurt
L: Cheese and spinach omelette. Potato skin. HM chocolate mousse
D: 3 oatcakes with garlic and herb soft cheese. Cherry tomatoes. Piece of smoked salmon.

Exercise: Lots of dancing! 4 miles of walking to and from work over the day.

    Hi guys

I am desperate to lose weight. I have been watching what I eat ie. no chips, chocolate crisps, tea. And I've been at the gym between 12 and 15 hours a week.

I have been doing spinning, body conditioning, resistance, swimming and step.

On the 6th may I weighed 167lb with 36in waist and 15th july it's still the same. I have been on weight lose forums elsewhere and I have been told I am either eating to much and not doing enough exercise! I know I am I track all my food and I never eat over 1300 cal and my exercise depending on what I doing that day ranges between 600 and 1100 cal.

Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Okay, so I've just weighed myself and I'm starting at 117.8 lbs. I'm going to set myself a goal of getting to 115 as I'm more concerned about toning up and eating healthily than losing weight. I think I'm going to take a pic of my tummy each time I do the weekly weigh in to monitor how things are going, hopefully I'll see some results and it will help to keep me motivated.

    Hi jax jax,

I've only just started - three weeks today actually - and I weigh myself every day and go up and down like you wouldn't believe. Overall it's going down, but it's a wonky line.

I know that muscle weighs more than fat - so you may be adding muscletone...

Keep a diary of food (on here would work) - but my guess is that somewhere your calculations are going wonky, or you aren't adding in something that you think doesn't count and actually it's loaded with calories. I watched a programme the other day where they thought they were being healthy but were gaining weight and couldn't understand it, and her 'healthy snacks' like nuts and seeds were LOADED with calories she wasn't counting because they were 'healthy snacks'....

Mind you, staying the same is an achievement - at least it's not going up!

I have my interview this morning at 10.30 - if anyone can spare a thought good luck vibes would be gratefully received!

The new haircut made me feel better.

And at the three week weigh in this morning I am half a stone down... I want it to be more and quicker, but I guess that's really good actually...

Yesterday I had two boiled eggs with soldiers for breakfast, we went to a pub lunch (egg friend rice and beef in oyster sauce) and dinner was two sausages, beens, some fried new potatoes and more egg!

No snacks though, and that was a bad day.

Today we have vegetarian chilli for dinner - do we share recipes here? It is the BEST vegetarian dish I've ever come across, I've never fed it to anyone who didn't love it and we now eat it about once a fortnight - would anyone like to see it?

Good luck Seanymph! And I'm a veggie and would love to see your chilli recipe!

I'm back on the wagon today after last night's excesses:o
I'm starting with a 4 mile walk with the dogs around a pretty village and lake on a heritage trail - a walk form a little book of walks that I forgot I had.
I'll also try to do the Couch to 5k end of week 2 run later to keep on track.

    Today's food will be....
    Breakfast - Nature Valley bar
Lunch - strawberries, grapes, banana, cracker bread and cheese triangles (didn't have much F&V yesterday so trying to redress the balance)
Tea - low fat cauliflower cheese and quorn ham

Will work out the cals later and add a snack if needed but I'm hoping for a good day to get me back on track.
