    Change of plan. Instead of the healthy dinner we are now having something from the chip shop.

    It's the start of a new challenge so I'm having one last take away before knuckling down!

    Also I'm feeling a bit put out that after all my hard work this week I didn't lose anything. Fair enough we've accepted it's probably fat turning to muscle but still.

    I need a treat, I've earnt it!

    Well I can report a 1lb loss this week making it a total of 8lbs since I joined you mid challenge:j
    I'd like to continue and will aim for a 10 lb target for the next 11 weeks.
    That will take me to just under 10 stone and the lightest I've been in years.

    Today has been the day from hell at work and I haven't sat down from 7.30am to now (5.45pm) and I'm kn*ckered.

    Just about to tot up the damage of food scoffed in a hurry....
    Breakfast - go ahead type thingies (90 cals)
    Mid Morning - packet of Oddities (137 cals)
    Lunch - wholewheat pitta (150 cals), spinach and quorn ham (about 50 cals), 2 satsumas (50 cals), grapes (100 cals)
    Snack - small packet of crisps (140 cals), 1 choc dig (80 cals)

    Total so far....797 cals

    Tea is in the oven - a very high brow 2 veggie sausages, 2 hash brown and a tin of spaghetti hoops:rotfl:Just can't be bothered tonight!
    Total now approx 1220
    Its pouring here so no running tonight but have trudged around the park with the dogs. If I can force myself I'll do the Shred later.
  • Evening everyone.

    Food for today,

    B: All bran, kiwi, plum, nectarine
    L: jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn, apple & fromage frais
    D: mince, boiled potatoes with veg, yoghurt
    S: 2 digestive biscuits

    Exercise: 70 min dog walking today.

    Have started my fitness pal app today after having it on my phone for months. It's been quite illuminating:think:

    Good Luck to everyone starting the new challenge tomorrow.

    Hi ladies (are there any fellas?).

    Please may I join in? OH and I started two weeks ago Sunday - I can't afford a diet group or the gym, so we are just eating less... and it's working!

    But I know keeping motivation is going to be hard. I also have a disabled knee and ankle, so exercise is difficult at best.

    Can someone point me in the right direction? The most difficult thing I find is that I weigh myself every day and it is SO up and down I can't believe it.

    Hi and Welcome :)

    I dont weigh myself everyday i just couldnt handle the emotional rollercoaster :rotfl:

    I have been swimming :T only managed 34 lengths- im just so tired/worn down today!

    I have had a very very naught dinner today- chip shop chips on 2 crusty cobs with butter :eek::eek: Thought I would have a treat but staring the new challenge!!

    Have a good friday night everyone- im afraid my plans include a glass of wine, rubbish telly and a lay down on the sofa ;)

    I would like to set myself the challenge of losing 11lbs in 11 weeks. That will include the "and some" weight that has gone on over my holidays :eek:
    I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
    Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
    When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    I got weighed this morning on the Wii and it said I have lost some weight but not enough to make a pound, so I think I've probably lost half a pound this week.

    Please can I join in with the new Autumn challenge?
    I would like to lose 7lbs

    Today I've had:
    B - F&F, yog & honey
    L- Tuna mayo sandwich & banana
    D- Oven chips & salmon, ice lolly
    No snacks so far today...but lots of water
    2025 Fashion on the ration
    150g sock yarn = 3 coupons
    Lined trousers = 6 coupons ...total 9/66 used
    2 t-shirts = 8 coupons
    Trousers = 6 coupons ... total 23/66
    2 cardigans = 10 coupons
    Sandals = 5 coupons ... total 38/66
    Nightie = 6 coupons
    Sandals = 5 coupons ... total 49/66

    Right, well the watery challenge for me will be 1 stone. I know I won't hit it, but I'll try.

    Today I had a banana and diet coke for breakfast..... well I was driving :)

    Some fried mashed potato with two eggs and some ham for lunch.

    a slice of warm bread crust as it came out of the breadmaker with Bonne Maman strawberry jam.

    And lettuce and endive and tomato salad with no dressing, some tuna and sweetcorn and some grated edam for dinner.

    Not my best day, but no sweets, no cakes, and no sugar :)

    Yesterday was my lowest weigh in so far - and today apparently I put on three pounds. Ridiculous. I have no idea how that works, mind you I just tried weighing myself on the carpet in the bathroom and that makes me three stone lighter! So if anyone fancies a quick fix I can recommend moving the scales around the house until you find a spot that makes you smile..

    Savesummore - I've been thinking about your swimming challenge and decided to join you (sort of). I have just over 6 weeks off for the summer holidays (teacher) and so have set myself a challenge to swim 600 lengths before I go back to school starting tomorrow. I actually finish work on Weds but will count this weekend as the start point.
    That works out as 2 sessions of 50 lengths twice a week with a few days to spare.

    Hope you don't mind me copycatting?
    I'll combine it with the Couch to 5K and the dreaded Shred and abs DVDs.

    Should be sylphlike in no time:rotfl::rotfl:

    Sorry that was late, one child had to go to doctors with chest infection other one has a red streak on his foot from infection that I have been closely watching all night, decided I can go to bed as it's not spread and no fever. Off to local hospital tomorrow, oh the joys!
    Oh and all the last minute organising for MIL's 60th tomorrow kind of didn't get done...

    But I have written new list for Autumn Challenge on paper, must not lose it now :o

    18 so far for the new challenge, good luck us all!
