    Challenges
Will post the final results of the current challenge today, when you post your WI can you also post target for next challenge as I will get the list out in the next few days so next Friday will be the first WI of the new challenge.
New challenge starts today running until September 29th, so 11 weeks.
No name for this one yet, any suggestions? Are we Autumn yet? Then the next one would be Christmas Challenge (Oct to Dec)...ok lets not mention that yet!

I have shifted 2 pounds, taking me back to 11,10 (though gutted as I was 11,8 yesterday! First day of 'that' time today though so I blame that) so my new challenge target is 10 pounds.
June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

    Morning ladies :)
Weighed in this morning, and STS again :) Need to go to shops tonight as we're out of lots of bits and I@m still struggling for things to eat for breakfast. Have gone off yoghurt again, the one I tried yesterday tasted rotten, bleugh! Bit fed up as I really miss milk and yoghurt :(

    Meals:
Breakfast: satsumas, babybel, half cheese sandwich
Lunch: chicken sandwich, half cheese sandwich, satsumas
Snack: rocky bar, maybe another kind of fruit if I get some from the office fruit basket before it's all gone!
    Dinner: HM pizzas

Last nights dinner ended up being HM lasagne from the freezer and garlic bread as I was too tired to make pizza dough, and DH couldn't be bothered  will have them tonight before the toppings go off!

  • Morning to all
Just a quick msg this morning as on my way out.

Weigh in this morning gave me a 2lb loss. (Dancing around house singing!!) which makes me 12 101/2.

Sticking to my planned 1lb a week loss still so for challenge that will be 11lb. Hoping to take my weight under the 12.

Will pop back later and post food diary for the day, and read all the posts.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning all

I weighed in this morning and the result was -5lb. There is one up side to having gall stones!!. I can't eat anything at all at the moment. Doctor told me only to have water until this evening.

So for the summer challenge I lost 17lb:T, not as much as I had hopped at the start, but I'm pleased all the same. If I hadn't done it I would still be a stone heavier.

For the next challenge I would like to loose 2lb a week. So could you put me down for 22lb please. If there is going to be a Christmas challenge then calling it Autumn challenge is fine.

Does anyone have any tips on how to motivate yourself to exercise when you are SO TIRED after work every day? :(
The only way I have found that is guaranteed to work for me is to have an "appointment", paying for a class before I go works best for me. I will always go if I have actually spent money on it. But it could be something that involves someone else, such as meeting a friend for a run, I find it harder to let a friend down so will go even if I don't feel like it. Or even deciding to go swimming at a set time, preferably on the way home, not going out again after getting home. If you are exercising at home then try in the morning before your day, rather than at the end.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all, welcome seanymph :)

Have STS but not too concerned as I'm still under my target for this period. I'll aim for 7lb loss over the Summer but don't hold out much hope, this has been a real struggle as I'm getting to the end of my ultimate target of 8st 7lb, and I've got visitors, am going to a wedding and have two weekends away in the next few weeks (excuses, excuses :o). I need to rethink my food intake, I've slipped into a rut and need a bit more variety in my menus to give myself a bit of a boost

Having said which today is much the same as usual

    B - spicy, fruity porridge
D - grilled 1/2 rack of ribs, small jacket, garlic mushrooms, petit pois
    T - Crackerbread w/marmite. salmon spread, marmalade
S - apple, pear, orange, melon
    E - Housework day, plus 5 each mins step/weights/stretch

Thanks to ragz for all you do :D
  • Today's weigh in: +0.2lb, less than a lb gain so may be muscle gain.

I'll go in for the next challenge. My goal will be to lose 14lbs :-)

    Food plan today is:

    B- porridge & OJ
    L- homemade soup
D- fish cakes & oven chips

Any snacks will be cups of tea and fruit if I have any.

Exercise will be Wii Sports Tennis. I've done 13mins so far today :-)

    Morning All,

I’ve been awol for a couple of days both from the thread and my menu plan but now that all the running around is finished I can get back on track – thankfully even with the sneaky treats this week I have STS so ending this part of the challenge at 9st 9lbs.

For the next part of the summer (huh) challenge I will aim for 5lbs taking me down to 9st 4lbs that puts me at the low end of my healthy weight and a much more acceptable waist to hip ratio.

    Meals today =
B – Poached Egg on Toast
L – hm Guacamole, pitta bread & salad
D – Veg Curry, brown rice
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Grocery spends = £103.53
