Evening all, welcome to the newbies
(((minicooper))) I empathise, I can't even write/type the name of the eight legged things, even if I see a picture of one in a paper/magazine I can't pick it up. Phobias are horrible things, I have to tell myself that people laugh at what they don't understand out of embarrassment.

My friend is terrified of spiders too. One day, when driving, she saw one on the passenger side of her car. Instinct made her steer away from it... onto the wrong side of the road. Luckily there was nothing coming the other way but it shows that phobias can make you act in the most illogical of ways.
Managed a second dose of the shred last night. Still walking like a duck this morning! I'm quite upset by how little the shred registers on the pedometer. I was at 7000 steps when I started last night and thought it was bound to take it up to the 10000 target. Gutted that I only got to 8890! I'm blaming the pedometer because I'm sure I did more jumping jacks than that!0 -
Well I was a lazy moo last night and didnt do any exercise.... was planning on going for a walk tonight but we've had thunder and lightening here today and the sky is looking black again so will probably not go far as dont want to get caught in it. (Thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it

Have had a bonkers day involving work, visiting pupils at work experience and then coming home to find a tiny escaped baby pet rabbit frozen in fear in the middle of the road. To cut a long story short, nobody in the area knows where its come from (must have knocked a million doors), the RSPCA or animal sanctuary wouldn't take it today (can't keep it due to dog), took it to the vets to see if it was ok and microchipped (no microchip) and eventually finding Pets at Home would take it under their adoption scheme. They'll keep it for 2 weeks to see if anyone claims him and then rehome. Thank God for Pets at Home - I was getting desperate. They were lovely when I took Robbie in (he now has a name!) and I was quite sorry to see him go:o
So food has taken a backseat today but I've just added up the approx cals and its not as bad as I thought - still just under the allowance for the day. On top of that the dreaded monthly time arrived unannounced this afternoon. I normally feel bloated and get big boobs but I hadn't noticed this time, have checked and its the right time though.
No exercise other than dog walking and frantically trying to find rabbit's owner. Am pooped now - this is the first time I've sat down all day.0 -
Evening All
How lovely of you Welsh Woofer to spend so much time looking for an owner. Lots of people wouldn't have bothered.
It's lovely and sunny here now, though we have had a lot of rain again earlier in the day. It was very wet underfoot so I didn't get a long walk as we tried to stick to less muddy paths.
B: Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
L: Covent Garden Wild Mushroom Soup (reduced to 99p and it will make me 3 meals). HM lemon pudding.Panfried chicken breast with mushrooms and caramelized onion in a balsamic cream sauce (from the site you suggested Ragz, so thank you) served with peas and julienned carrots. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Exercise: About 3.5 miles of walking with this morning and a trip to the city this afternoon.
