Devastating emails... :(

Sorry you missed out---48hrs wasn't much time to reply to them but at least one of the advent comps only gave people 24 hrs to respond.0

That is devastating and I can fully understand why you're upset, I would be too.
I won on the Barclaycard Advent they only gave you 5 hours to respond to the email, however they did actually phone you first to tell you had won and needed to repond to the email within the allotted time.
An £1800 prize is a big prize, and 48 hours is not really a decent timescale, hope you get something sorted xxI love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

I feel your pain
In November, I missed out on a trip to see the Oxford Street lights switched on and a £500 M&S voucher. I thought at first I was the original winner, but it turned out I was a runner up as first person had not accepted/replied in time. I had 24 hours to respond and it was on one of the few days I had not read my emails. Even if I had got it in time, it would have been a struggle to arrange to get there the next day.
I phoned the PR chap to complain but he was not bothered.
WHY do companies give such short notice for wins and give you hardly any time to respond? It is so annoying
Hope something lovely comes your way soon :jDogs are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.:)

After reading all these stories, I have to say I'm not gonna be click-happy in deleting my emails!! Even if it takes ages, I'm gonna be reading them before I delete! You'll have to speak up; I'm wearing a towel0

Just reading this post in disbelief:( There will be me and I'm sure other compers left with a low opinion of this promoter. As for you, this can only mean theres a bigger and better win just around the corner:grouphug:2011 Wins - Shopping Vouchers / Ice Bucket from Dr Oetker / Local Hair Salon Colour Treatment

I've had a similarly bad experience with the same promoter...I took it to the IPM in the end and Edwin Mutton phoned me up and we had a nice chat about it....he's a truly lovely and helpful man. Sadly, I never got my prize.

Aaaaw that's terrible. I won (a small prize in comparison to yours) a £50 Pink Sumo Goodie Bag whilst on holiday last month & missed out as I didn't reply to the email. I have since tried to beg
but the prize had already gone to someone else. 0 -
