You could try and blag just one free dress. Say you were away and had no internet access, how much you love Coast and that you've found your perfect dress in there, how upset you are, so on and so forth.

There's no harm in trying, they can only say 'no' and you have nothing to lose in trying. Don't get your hopes up though just in case.

At least you'll know to check your Spam from now on, I've had countless emails sent to my junk email folder.

The lady hasnt responded to my first shocked email asking what prize and when was the email sent as I had never received it and asking was there anything she could do to make it so I was reinstated as the winner.

Oh well I'll learn in future, put so much effort into this one, digging out and scanning an old photo and writing a story for coast moments as to why it made me feel special wearing their dress. I do hope they have not used it as i'm not wanting my picture up on their site without a prize to show for it lol

I always do check spam normally but what with xmas and tonne of advents and it not being clear it was a winning email I only saw her email today as it went to inbox and was top of the list. I searched only yesterday for congratulations winner prize winner etc but it doesnt contain any of that

thanks everyone, major shock over and i'm reverting back to normal heart rate :D x

  • Oh no :( thats terrible, am keeping my fingers crossed that they are behind with their comps and haven't given someone else your prize yet. Do let us know if you hear anything or if they give you a consolation prize. I know what you mean though, I look for 'congratulations/winner in the subject so could have happened to any of us x

Hi, did the comp actually say 48hrs in the terms and conditions? If they didn't you might have a chance as that isn't reasonable on xmas week, maybe let the IPM know and see if they can communicate with them on your behalf:

If you have a problem with an individual promotion and think that it should be investigated, please email us at complaints@theipm.org.uk

    good luck x

I had this happen with a comp and it said I only had a week to respond (it had gone to my junk too); I emailed them and luckily they still let me have it (it was a code to use on Amazon). Like the op, mine never had winner in it either so I missed it. Fingers crossed they come good for you!
