Why not give her a few days, if she doesn't respond contact the ipm, and let them know, you never know they might be able to sway this in your favour! Please don't see it as a lost cause till you have explored the avenues open xx
I have found the MD : Margaret McDonald, if you can wait till morning, I can find the email for her, Maybe she will be willing for the sake of good public relations etc etc to sort this out.

Thank you Toniq - I really appreciate your help, am useless at these kind of mails I went to bed thinking of it all last night and couldnt sleep, silly to be upset over a pile of dresses I guess!
Thank you to everyone else for being so nice too :TSPC 2023 #033 £352.08 /2024 £?

I was gutted that I'd missed out on a £175 dress from Coast but your situation is even worse. They didn't even email me. I just got a message in the 'other' inbox on Facebook. Does anybody know if there is a way of setting up notifications for these messages as I know I'm not the first and won't be the last to miss out on prizes?0

Ah thats terrible too, i'd still be gutted over 1 dress - Have a feeling we are not the only 2 to miss out on a coast prize then
i'm not too hot on fb sorry I dont receive any notifications at all from there. SPC 2023 #033 £352.08 /2024 £?

My first thought was that 48hrs is totally inadequate at this time of year. Also, like others, I have received at least one reminder before a prize was withdrawn - and that was just a cheeseboard:cool:
I have known campaigns start on FB over this sort of thing but of course the second choice winner probably knows nothing about any of this and it would probably be unfair to spoil it for two people.
I don't think you overreacted at all - this was a valuable prize and, ironically, you are obviously a Coast fan who has made an effort. To be brushed off and ignored in this way is appalling (sp?)
I would go with Toniq and go higher up the food chain, personally, and also to report them to the IPwotsit, as I truly think the notice given with no reminder was inadequate
All the best for 2012 and hope lots of lovely wins come your way:)
PS - don't know how efficient this method is but always search my email folders for 'Winner' & 'Congratulations' if I have a huge amount"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

Didn't think this was allowed on FB?
Sorry, I mean notifying just by FB meassage"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. Just on the off-chance that the replacement winner is also on MSE, would you mind letting us know what the winning email subject was, so we can check our Junk Mail?
In the unlikely event that I win, you're more than welcome to one of the dresses
(I currently only own 1 dress anyway so really wouldn't miss one of them !) Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20100 -
That is a real shame. Do you think that sometimes competition promoters deliberately don't put words like "congratulations" in the subject line, so that we all have to actually read the text of their emails?0
