Morning all and Happy Friday!!
Spendy couple of weeks here having paid off the balance of our holiday!(worth it though!) and some other such frivolities!!
I have managed to snaffle £800 into the house fund, £10 into the car fund and pay for a few other expenses as well plus around £5 in change to the money pot too!!
Net result is I have about £12.52 in my purse until payday at the end of august!! (I know its only the 2nd day of august but hey!!) Shall need to be pretty inventive (food and petrol covered in another budget so not really that destitute!) but no hugely expensive things I can think of at this stage , couple of lunches with friends but my £12.52 should cover that!
In other moneymaking news MrTyo has been grafting away at some most excellent DIY saving thousands on getting-a-man-in-to-do-it!I have been *ahem* helping ..... I'm absolutely brilliant at [STRIKE]causing complete chaos and making more problems [/STRIKE] DIY ....:A:A
You will all be glad to know that I have been very kindly feeding Mrtyo a cuppa every morning, not to mention bacon sandwiches, dinner and even a cheeky  or two for a days work well done!
3 x £5 Halifax rewards between us this month! :T
TCB account standing at a whopping £33 just waiting for it to become payable! Annoyed as they have just started amazon cashback so should have ordered latest stuff via there but forgot!!Still, a girl cant do everything! Online shop via there netted us almost £6 in cashback and got a big pack of mince, lots of veg and a whole chicken for lots of s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d meals! :T
Not much else to report - my "leafing through ideal home magazine whilst drinking fake pimms " business isn't doing as well as I had hoped (despite natty's help) - net profit £ -0.24p (I had to re-stock the lemonade as was running out) !0 -
Just nipping out TYO, I will catch up with you good and proper over the weekend though!!!
Mwah X O XFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

Morning all
Had to go hunting for my diary!!
MWC and natty - afraid no more profits made so far from the business venture - and we are now at a loss of £0.48p due to lemonade re-stocking .... I suggest an urgent business meeting in the garden with a glass of said lemonade (and fake pimms) to try and develop our business strategy!!
It has been a busy and spendy few weeks with several birthdays, celebrations and general living-life-nights-out . Has been very lovely though!!
In money saving news I have been trying to use up food we have in /not spend recklessly ... Have £33 still waiting in TCB to become payable and have listed a dvd and cd on amazon- I'll make my millions in no time this way!! :rotfl:
In other good news - only 2 weeks till payday!!0 -
Glad you have been having a busy and fun time.0

Morning All!!!
Had to go hunting for my diary there .... sorry diary for neglecting you the past few weeks!!
Life and work has been busy busy but still trying to keep on with the moneysaving!
In MSE news
* Still no profits from mine and nattys business
* £722.95 added to house fund as an extra this month from a combination of tilly tidies and interest!
*Been eating out of freezer/cupboards mostly and hoping to stick to food shopping budget for sept- we are trying to be healthier so I don't mind if it goes over on healthy food!
*snaffled pressies for a few bdays etc.. from the present box so no spends there!
*found and counted up some spare change I had lying around - off to bank that this week and will then add to house fund!0 -
Ahhhhh nothing like a sunday morning lie in followed by a cuppa and a catch up in the world of diary-land!!
An expensive few days with uni course fees paid for for me, and other such exciting stuff!! House fund has taken a bit of a dip but all for a good cause!:T
TCB - still waiting to clear about £35 when I get it and will probably put that in the xmas shopping fund! Tilly have you started your countdown yet??:xmastree:
Banked £80 of change the other day, £70 of which has been transferred to house fund as owed c/card a tenner!
Have 4 birthdays coming up before the end of this month so will be hunting through pressie box stash to see if I need to buy anything extra (hoping not!)
Still eating out of freezer/cupboards- leftover chilli for tonight and a healthy salad for lunch, cooked up a mass of veg on Friday night which we had some of for dinner and 2 tubs now in freezer. May also make cupcakes today as have some eggs needing using up ...Stocks are getting low after that so may need to do a shop this week I think!
Life is about to get VERY busy here so am trying to de-stress and chill out and delegate responsibilities /let things go rather than feel I have to do absolutely everything and perfectly, one hundred per cent of the time!!
Happy Sunday all , hope the sun is shining where you are0
