Well we now have a diagnosis. He has a very rare cancer that is presenting itself in a very rare way. We have no prognosis yet. I will be with her in a few week as he is to be home sharing special time with the children

i'm so sorry sethsgran.
I hope you dont mind me saying, but if he has a bad prognosis (and i'm hoping and praying he doesnt) but maybe consider him writing letters to his kids for the big moments. My dad passed when i was 19 and its something i would love to have now. I really wish it was something he had done.

Oh Sethsgran at least SILs condition has a name lets hope his prognosis is better than expected. Here's hoping he has many many happy times with his children and of course your daughter:-) Making memories will be very important to you all now.

Hi Ladies

I was hoping you could help me seeing as you all have such wonderful ideas. I am on the PTA at our school and was hoping to be able to get the older kids years 5 and 6 involved in making things to sell at the school fayre. This may be at a lunchtime/ afterschool club.

Has anyone got any very simple and low cost ideas of things that they could make? we sold sweetie bags last year like the ones flying pig makes. Any ideas gratefully received.
