  • These are fab ideas! Never seen any of them before thanks! :T
  • i LOVE the shadow boxes (especially the one with the red music sheet behind them)

    they could get costly,
shadow boxes arent cheap, nor are bells, i buy mine form China, the small ones are fine, but they do get £££ the bigger size you go

i think this is something i shall make for us instead:D
    thanks seths gran

    i really like that!

Been out and about today and looked for the shadow boxes but no luck yet. I know ikea have them for about £3.50 and Wilkinsons are a similar price. There weren't any in the pound shop but will check out B&M next week. I have been looking also for the bells. I figure they won't take me long to make so I have approx 11 months to search out a bargain, there will be one somewhere!

  • £3.50 isnt bad, i was expecting them to be more

now who can i bribe to go to Ikea for me:rotfl:

its not my favourite place to go
  • Was just wondering are you making the shadow boxes with bells to sell or for yourselves? how much would they sell for?? They look so simple but so effective I am really liking them!!

I've spent the afternoon watching you tube videos on making different things! I love being crafty! I am hoping this year to get some good inspiration and make some things that I can make for gifts at christmas or sell on at maybe a couple of craft fairs xx

Im so starting in the new year, I just ran out of time with the unexpected commitments I found myself with in October. Ive been sewing a few felt things so I thought I might expand on that this year. The reindeer chocolate bars were a hit at school though. Does anyone have a good source of felt? Ive been getting mine from ebay as its the cheapest but tis just not the best sewing quality.

  • I think this lady's wool blend felt looks lovely, she has a huge choice of colours http://www.thefeltfairy.com/page5.htm you can get 20 9" squares for £11 with free delivery - I'm in the middle of choosing colours to order, the trouble is I want them all!

I'm nothing to do with the company but I am obsessed with felt!!
