Right, after a bit of a false start, I am declaring March a no spend month! If the pleasant weather continues, I shall bring some of last years spring stuff out of the loft early! Totally bored of the winter woolies now.
I have taken a months membership at a gym, it has taken all of my powers of resistance to not rush out and buy new gym gear. (last years stuff is straining a little) I am convinced that I will get back into it all if I continue with my healthy eating plan and gym regime. I will need a sports bra at some stage though. I have decided that underwear is not included in my budget for the year.

congrats to all of you that made it through Feb without spending, and also well done to the "freedom day" people.
    keep up the good work

No spend feb! But today i decided I really needed some work trousers, as I dont like the jeggings with shoes! (they look great with boots however) . Got a pair from tesco, bit big in the 20 but £6, can take them in a bit hehe.

Tidying up today in the hallway I found a brand new foldaway rucksack and a light cotton scarf that I'd bought last summer and completely forgotten about. I got the 'just acquired' thrill all over again and didn't spend a penny! I think the last time I bought anything was sometime in December.

I needed some smaller tops to see me through to warmer weather so had a look in Sainsbury's. I bought 4 longsleeved T shirts in basic colours - £6 each and they're Fair Trade cotton. I can wear them on their own or underneath shirts or jumpers depending on the weather. I also bought 2 V neck jumpers for work - £10 each. For £44 I'm very pleased with the smaller additions to my wardrobe.

(I'm taking back a cardigan I bought and I resisted the temptation to buy a handbag).

    Total so far: £137.50

Electric blue suede peep toe platforms :D:D I love them, and in my defence I did take back the undies I bought the other week so total is now £55

  • Very impressed with myself that I am still only at £14 after 2 months!

Although what I am saving seems to be going on my daughter's clothes. She managed to persuade me to let her start ballet. £50 on the outfit. Ouch! Took most of it back for bigger sizes - don't want to have to replace all that in six months time! Oh well, at least she seems to really enjoy it.

Afternoon all, No spends since b'day dress I bought a few weeks back but did sort out DD2 wardrobe with her yesterday and sent a huge bag to charity bin (at local supermarket) but also managed to keep a pair of skinny indigo jeans and a top too so very happy.

Need to do DD3 wardrobe this weekend but having just got back from footy think I might leave it a few hours.

I seemed to have done heck of a lot of washing past couple of days and it's all piled in my room so need to sort it pronto-have noticed though if I delay washing items ,I pick something else out that I would not have normally worn which is good ,but then I end up with lots of washing and ironing!:o

I have to declare £12 on a dress from the sale in New Look. I'm not a big fan of NL but this dress is really lovely and I was delighted to find it reduced and in my size. I really must not buy anything else this month, next month or the month after that though:o

I have a spend to declare, £10 on 2 t shirts from BHS to wear for work under shirts. I know, not very exciting!

Also freed a nice grey cowl-necked top, wearing it with jeans today but it's too short to cover my belly properly so I'll have to just wear it with skirts so it won't get worn much as I live in jeans and trainers. Sigh. At least I tried. Had to really concentrate to make myself go past Fatface instead of into it today! OH is no help, he says go in and buy something if you want to which is not the attitude I need!

Have good days all, I'd better update my sig
