Of the 2 jumpers, 4 long-sleeved T shirts and 1 cardigan I bought on Friday, I'm only keeping the 2 jumpers and 1 of the T shirts. Everytime I've bought something this year, something's gone back - I love this thread! I've had a few Freedom Days and am getting more colourful as I lose weight so I'm going to hang on to my money for a little longer :)

I have another £3 to declare on tights... one plum and one grey, haven't worn either yet though! I also have some bits coming from h&m online, but will update when I know what I'm keeping!

have a confession to make, £45 spent on a whistles dress for a wedding, in my own defence it is a bargain but still have to fess up, along with some white undercrackers to replace the interestingly shaded grey ones i did have, and ds has 5 tshirts, 2 pairs of trousers that actually cover the top of his shoes :rotfl:and a new hoodie

all for the princely sum of £63.76. off to update my sig but thats down to not a lot for the rest of the year.

£220.34 left, mmm now we see how my wardrobe used to look like a shop

As the sun is shining today I have set free a summery sleeveless blouse. It's looking a bit baggy so may be heading to fleabay soon so going to try and get some wear out of it before then. My friend is getting married in Summer and have seen an ideal dress online at NeXT which I could buy by converting consumer pulse points so I could count that as free, right?

First spend to report since January - work trousers gave up the ghost so £25 spent on a new pair from Evans. My mum's getting a new sewing machine so she's going to teach me to make bits and bobs for myself - I haven't been near a sewing machine in 15 years though! :D

  • Work today was really tough -a colleague broke down, lots of real sad medical problems at home, made me feel very down - and it just put life into perspective.
Anyway I took a walk at lunchtime ,to get out in fresh air and went to local CS near to work and picked up a great pair of soft black PerU** casual trousers for £2 - normally would have put them back(because £2 could be spent on things for the family, food, petrol etc) but today I thought"No,am going to have these -it's £2 not £25, I know I will wear them as they are a size smaller than my others" And I am wearing them now, they fit like a glove, and for once I don't feel guilty in spending money on myself.

I forgot to declare three pashmina-type scarves I bought from the charity shop on Saturday. One of them is definitely brand new, but I think the other two are too. They'll tie in with other clothes in my wardrobe as well as brightening up all the black jumpers I can't seem to give up!

I've got a lot of scarves so I'm trying to have Freedom Days and get rid of those that I really don't want to wear anymore. It's easy to think that scarves don't take up much room but the collection soon builds up!
