Hi Lula Hula thank you so much for running this post.
This is a huge challenge for me as I normally spend a fortune on clothes. I really need to stop.
I have managed to get through February without spednding anything, in fact I now have £35 in M & S vouchers which I am adding to my clothes spend so I am actually declaring a negative figure -£35/100:j:j is that allowed??
Good luck everyone0 -
Still no spend so far this year. also a freedom day. not much left now in the not worn for ages dept. might try different combinations of clothes for a new look.0

Still no spends here, good to see others have managed it too.
A freedom jewellery day sounds a great idea Rosemary.
I'm trying to work out a way of suspending my necklaces. I have a jewellery box with side opening flaps; currently they are draped over an open box flap, hanging off the edge of a large bedside unit. I use a tie rack to suspend scarves, so might invest in another rack (but as it's storage it won't count!)Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
I have my necklaces hanging from drawing pins in a cork pinboard on the wall! I have a simple poster as the backing then all one colour drawing pins to hang the necklaces from (the plastic ones which stick out a bit). Makes something of a feature of them!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Hi all, no spends Feb for me either. I did buy some new boots at the weekend. Went to Amsterdam and did a ridiculous amount of walking. My feet were in agony so HAD to buy some different shoes to relieve them. They were £35ish, but as I said in my initial post, I'm not including footwear in my total.
Well done everyone with no/low spends!!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

I can't resist Pia as their sales are fantastic and I have some items that I have not even worn yet:eek:also I love rings but somehow they only suit me on 1 finger(saw a lady at weekend with eight rings on!!!)
I wore a neckllace i had forgotten about yesterday but as I never left the house it seemed a bit pointless:rotfl:I have now packed a few items to take on holiday(I don't normally bother,a bit like make up as no one I know will see me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I must confess that I have a jewellery drawer full of small jewellery boxes and gift boxes. One weekend I sorted all my jewellery into colour schemes etc. but I never put them away after so I have a regular collection on my bedside table (and Hubby's bedside table too) that I wear mosr frequently, mainly because it's there on view.0
