Hi Lula Hula thank you so much for running this post.
This is a huge challenge for me as I normally spend a fortune on clothes. I really need to stop.
I have managed to get through February without spednding anything, in fact I now have £35 in M & S vouchers which I am adding to my clothes spend so I am actually declaring a negative figure -£35/100:j:j is that allowed??
Good luck everyone0 -
Still no spend so far this year. also a freedom day. not much left now in the not worn for ages dept. might try different combinations of clothes for a new look.0

Ah I knew it wouldnt last forever...
Made my first purchase on Saturday, a new top. Well 2 really, a navy see through top with white bird print and a navy vest to go underneath.
See through top £12 reduced to £7
Vest top £5
I do love a bargain 0 -
Still no spends here, good to see others have managed it too.
A freedom jewellery day sounds a great idea Rosemary.
I'm trying to work out a way of suspending my necklaces. I have a jewellery box with side opening flaps; currently they are draped over an open box flap, hanging off the edge of a large bedside unit. I use a tie rack to suspend scarves, so might invest in another rack (but as it's storage it won't count!)Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
I have my necklaces hanging from drawing pins in a cork pinboard on the wall! I have a simple poster as the backing then all one colour drawing pins to hang the necklaces from (the plastic ones which stick out a bit). Makes something of a feature of them!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Hi all, no spends Feb for me either. I did buy some new boots at the weekend. Went to Amsterdam and did a ridiculous amount of walking. My feet were in agony so HAD to buy some different shoes to relieve them. They were £35ish, but as I said in my initial post, I'm not including footwear in my total.
Well done everyone with no/low spends!!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

my main jewelry box is a mesh cube from JL designed as office storage,it has 3 drawers and is very useful to sort out things in different colours(I have a black, gold, and red/purple draw)I also have a box of turquoise things and lots of small Pia(my fav shop) boxes where I keep the things I buy from Pia,plus the Tenerife pearl boxes and a musucal box Dh bought me years ago with rings that do not have their own box in and various other boxes with odd things in(far too many!!!)Dh tends to buy me silver jewelry even tho I hint gold would be good:rotfl:and so I have loads of silver earings in a bag which are the ones that get tarnished(I do have a jewelry cleaner but they soon go off again and are not ready to wear when I want them:(mcculloch29 wrote: »Still no spends here, good to see others have managed it too.

I can't resist Pia as their sales are fantastic and I have some items that I have not even worn yet:eek:also I love rings but somehow they only suit me on 1 finger(saw a lady at weekend with eight rings on!!!)
I wore a neckllace i had forgotten about yesterday but as I never left the house it seemed a bit pointless:rotfl:I have now packed a few items to take on holiday(I don't normally bother,a bit like make up as no one I know will see me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I must confess that I have a jewellery drawer full of small jewellery boxes and gift boxes. One weekend I sorted all my jewellery into colour schemes etc. but I never put them away after so I have a regular collection on my bedside table (and Hubby's bedside table too) that I wear mosr frequently, mainly because it's there on view.0
