Hey everyone. No spending to report but I really need to tidy my wardrobe. It's a mess! I doubt I'll be able to do it all at once though. It's very energy consuming!

  • Still no spendies and a big freedom day yesterday - beige top and brown skirt that have never been worn before and brown shoes that I haven't worn for ages as I've been in flats because of achey legs. It takes a while to get used to wearing heels again! :)

I've still got loads of stuff that I bought last year that I haven't freed yet. Must work harder on this as I keep going back to my old reliable black tops and grey trousers for work. Why am I so afraid of wearing different colours?! :(

I'm concentrating so much on not forgetting to take my Tramadol that I forgot to take my Quetiapine! It's not doing anything for my anxiety and my sleep is rubbish but it must be doing something for my sleep because whenever I forget to take it, I have an even more rubbish night.

DH is going to take me to the cinema today if I feel up to it. Going to see Safe House. Just hope my noise sensitivity doesn't play up and that my energy allows me to even get down the stairs!

Wearing my new dress that I got from H&M over some grey skinny jeans and with a grey chunky knit cardigan.

I bought some silver jewellery cleaner from Arguus a while back and I give my jewellery a quick dip in that if it's looking tarnished (even my non silver, costume jewellery:p)

I have a drawer full of jewellery at home but only ever wear about 10 pieces of it, the ones I take off and leave on my bedside table. I like the idea of jewellery freedom days :)

I've done that many a time, maybe we go through our own little periods of fashion. The amount of times I've tried to explain to Hubby why "I just don't like it anymore"... :rotfl:
  • Hello all, I know I am a bit late in the year to ask to join. I haven't spent anything on clothes this year at all as DH has been out of work over winter. He is back this week so I thought this would be ideal to start now. I am going to budget £100 for myself and £100 for DH (anything that he doesn't spend sure I will take - since I have my eye on £60 Iron Fist shoes. :p). I know I will be needing more white items like underwear etc so I know I will definitely be spending. I don't have any weddings that I know I am going too. I will probably have three wedding invites this year but we are definitely not going to them.

My wardrobe is full. Last year I had been given some hand me downs from my sil and sister and that is on top of my own spend and the 3 massive bags that went to clothes for cash.

I have noticed that some of you have budget £100....this is for yourself or yourself and DH too?

Just wrote a reply and lost it….being as though I am supposed to be working

Just quickly I am sure that it is not a problem to join the challenge but Lula will need to add you to the front page.
My £300 is for me and DS, includes school uniform which will be around £100 for the year, can’t rely on his dad for anything, but if I get something from his grandparents then all the more for me and him for proper clothes :D
Some people include everything in the budget, others don’t include things like undercrackers, others use balances from fleabay selling to spend on clothes
So it’s really your choice, not much help really …………………. Good luck with whatever you decide to do :)

    Hello & welcome moneymanager

I shall indeed add you to the members list on the first page.

I'm amazed that I've only spent 99p throughout February, I wonder if I can keep it up during March ?
