I let my little boy choose my birthday shoes one year, big mistake, C2B only if carried by a studly man!!
In other news just spent £70 on clothes. Yes, once again I used the magic hooby jooby voodoo that I can control (interwebs) to buy my mum 5 new dresses (43" skirt length, mustnt have elasticaed waists, belts are ok I just put them in the bin says she)
So doesnt count. I also found a voucher code and free delivery. "Chums" the website for fussy mothers!0 -
More spends to declare after some sale shopping
£12 on a bright orange/red soft 3/4 sleeve jacket reduced from £29.50 - they left the price tag on! It's a gorgeous colour I never thought I could wear and when I tried it on I loved it. Will need a nice white or cream top to wear underneath which I am on a constant hunt for and never find one I like that much!
Also £7 on some black daisy print cotton trousers reduced from £25 which fitted nicely and will look nice with a black top, a bright top or a white top depending on time of year and so on.
Quite pleased with this £19 spend for what I have and full price would have been £54.50
Now all I need is some bright blue jeans and a couple of white or cream tops and maybe a couple of nice jumpers I've just seen on half price in splatalan sale - maybe or maybe not. Will see but really want a pair of those bright blue skinny jeans!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I must admit I am thinking about some of these coloured skinny jeans, would only get cheap ones (so long as they fit) as I can't see them being an investment piece - but I'm worried I'm a bit old for them (over 30 but under 35) Any advise?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Glad to be of service! Bless her but she cant stand ANYTHING touching her skin these days, no high necks, no trousers or skirts or elasticated waistband, and the jacket that she copied from me ( see posts passim) had elasticated cuffs inside the sleeve for extra warmth and she cut them out. Means its hard to get her stuff!0

Might it be worth trying Etsy or ebay for the buttons? You know, just in case something really splendid turns up?:D‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Hola chicas (y chicos)
I have a spend from a couple of weeks ago to declare, I went and spent £34.58 on ski kit in go outd00rs (amazing shop... oh the stuff I could have bought) and then £5 on tights in A$DA before hols last week, the first day it was -12C on the slopes! So has all been useful, but was not exempt from the challenge so my total is now £100.07/£300... I keep seeing things I want for summer too. This is not good!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

I am at the age were the phrase - mutton as lamb  - can be used - so hard to decide what to buy/wear - I am 61. I do like wearing colours - in fact I don't do black!
I have some FC blue jeans that I love - wore them on Sunday with an orange Pri.... jumper and a lovely new grey mohair mix cardigan. I put on a necklace and felt good - Mr F said I looked lovely - but he always say's that! :rotfl:
I watched the Mary P shows but didn't like many of the clothes she was putting in her shop.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
