  • Bought a lovely dress in the M+S Autograph sale down from £49.50 to £30.
Looks very sophisticated. I did struggle with myself as I don't need it.
However I'm keeping it so I will update my signature.

I am doing a lot better than I would do without this thread xx
  • Hello all - please can I be a late starter on this thread? I need to cut back on my clothing spend, especially as this year I need to lose some weight - if I buy new things that fit, that always makes me feel I can't lose weight until I have had some wear from them. I am going to set my spend at £500 as I need to look smart for work and have a christening to go to this year which will require something decent but I do have too many clothes and the old saying "you wear 20% of your wardrobe 80% of the time" is definately true for me! I will try and catch up on all your posts as I go along but looking forward to doing the challenge!
  • I'm sneaking on for the first time in ages to declare that I got sucked into buying work clothes in the Asd@ sale today. I spent £14 and bought 2 pairs of trousers, a dress and a top in my current size as the weightloss is very unsuccesful at the moment and I'm as fat as ever.
But £14 for all that seems like a bargain to me.

I spent £5 today on more M&S socks - they're really comfy :). Sort of freedom day today, wearing grandad shirt with t-shirt underneath for warmth and a waistcoat with black jeans. Makes a change from the ubiquitous fleeces :)

    Have a good weekend everyone

May I please join? :o I know I'm a bit late but I only just saw this thread.:o

I have so many clothes that my wardrobe is brimming! I really need to learn to make outfits out of the clothes I already have, rather than buying new clothes.:o It's not like I follow the trends either, so hopefully it'll be easy to stick to my budget (and because I'm chronically ill so don't really get a change to go out that much.:o).

    I think I'm going to set myself a budget of £250 + any giftcards I am given/win. :)

Does this include underwear and shoes? :o
