Oh carp...I've just realised the reason the bra I was wearing today felt odd is because one of the wires has come out....unfortunately there also seems to be something making the washing machine make a funny noise on a fast spin....oh dear....Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I'm back - and ready to confess all - clotheswise
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Dress - reduced from £40 to £15
Dress - reduced from £30 to £10 - i shouldn't need any more going out stuff this year and will try and sell another dress i have which should go for more that the £25 i've spent too  Plus my new dresses are a little different and unusual rather than fashionable so shouldn't date either
leggins - full priced at £20  But - in doing this challenge and going through my wardrobe (rather than just grabbing what i usually wear) i realise these are a great addition to my wardrobe (didn't get my standard black colour today) as i just wear my plain leggins all the time and need to spruce my casualwear up a bit
And a new cardigan- i saw it months ago and even didn't get it at xmas when it was reduced from £45 to £20 - but succumbed today when it was a bargainous £10 :T
Off to add this huge splurge to my total *wonders if has any of budget left for the rest of the year* Also kicks self for doing challenge from december instead of january :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Morning all!
Well I succumbed and ordered a few tops from HnM, hoping they'll be here this weekend. A couple of my work blouses are looking a bit worn and baggy already so a couple of jumpers will spruce up my work's wardrobe. Haven't quite lost enough weight to fit into those grey trousers I bought last year(hoping to slim down into them) but one pair I bought back in October are too big :T so I'm trying to survive on 2 pairs of work trousers at the mo. Means I've got to keep on top of the washing though:eek:
I'm impressed I've only actually bought socks this month and it's thanks to you all on this thread:T0 -
Bought first clothing of 2012 in House Of Fraser sale yesterday – rugby shirt, polo and checked long-sleeved shirt, all 100% cotton.
Pre-sale price £112 total, actually paid £36 (equivalent to 68% discount :j) – all from vouchers (will also get £2 back when I input these into Consumer Pulse this week)
2012 running totals:-
Cash – £0/150 spent
HOF Vouchers – £36/110
M&S Vouchers – £0/50

I've been umming and ahhing about whether to join this challenge and I think I'm ready to jump in! I'm going to go for £250 which is realistic hopefully but totally less that what I've spent in previous years.
Last year, about half way through the year I decided to only buy clothes from charity or secondhand shops - which I mostly managed - but I ended up buying some quite expensive pieces from vintage shops so I didnt really save that much money!
So this year, of the £250 so far I have bought some second hand shop Russell and Bromley shoes for £24.99, and bit of a bargain and I could make some money selling them on eBay but I'm quite fond of them... And I had to buy some tights the other day which were £4.99.
So far I'm just under £30. I actually thought I'd done pretty well, but considering if I spent this every month that I'd total go over my target by over a hundred quid, I guess that's why I need to participate in this challenge!0 -
Wondered past bon marche today (not my usual place of clothes shopping as I feel I am about 20 years too young) and they had their closing down sale on and snaffled some undies for a £1 each, so bought 6 pairs and wondered back out again. Just hope they fit now!!
That will make another 2 shops empty in my local high street....:(SPC Nbr.... 1484....£800 Saved £946 in 2013)
(£1,010 in 2014)

Hi everyone
I often visit this thread and have at last decided to join after a bit of a LBM:( if you'll have me
I dont know how much I normally spend on clothes but I know I waste a lot of money on things I dont really need (clothes included) so Im hoping this thread will keep me on track and make me realise how much I spend on clothes, shoes etc. so my amount will be just £100
I dont have heaps of clothes but I have bought a sewing machine quite recently so Im hoping to make do and mend, and make cheaper clothes and charity shop buy some as well, as regards shoes I should be OK but may need a new pair later in the year
So thats me, I have spent on a hat and gloves from Primani £3.50
oh and some socks as well that cost £3.00 and a bag £3.00 all in the Primani sale so thats £9.00 in total so far:(
I will add this to my signature
Jxx£1 a day 2025: £90.00/365 Xmas fund0
