my mum came round yesterday, my sister has recently lost some weight and has cleared out some of her old clothes, so a big black bag landed on my sofa and i picked out what i liked, including a river island dress that i will be getting into when i lose some weight.
but today i did buy some jogging bottoms @ £5 and a sports bra that was reduced to £2 so total this year so far is £7 and £93 remainingPAD Maker0 -
Hi All
Well had my first clothing spend of 2012 today - £25 on a pair of jeans from M&S! To be honest my old jeans are looking decidedly washed out and naff now so see this as a good investment. Nothing more though for at least another month!

Wondered past bon marche today (not my usual place of clothes shopping as I feel I am about 20 years too young) and they had their closing down sale on and snaffled some undies for a £1 each, so bought 6 pairs and wondered back out again. Just hope they fit now!!
That will make another 2 shops empty in my local high street....:(0 -
Hello everyone!
Well, here goes with my first spend for the year...
I have purchased three bras that i needed for replacing the over worn ones that is now no loger in my wardrobe at £78.
I got a brilliant bargain with my work boots (which are normally £90), as i managed to get two for £80 as they were on sale, so techinally £100 saving :j
Lets hope i do not need to purchase anything else for the next two months

I'm going to look around the charity shops tomorrow to see if I can find any clothes suitable for work. Has anyone here ever bought shoes from a charity shop? Would you recommend it?0

I believe they are part of the same group that Peacock's belong(ed) to.
My budget is looking decidedly in jeopardy, saw a lovely paid of shoes on the TK Maxx webiste today, plus still need a new bra to replace the one where the wire came out, and could do with some new undies (the 4 for £5 in MnS are usually quite good - now they have some decent patterns) Sigh....could be a long yearFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

RE Charity Shop shoes...
I know I have "Shopped" shoes into ours that I have worn once or twice at most (unsuitable party shoes, some from before I lost weight and my feet shrunk etcetc) and they would be fine for anyone to wear. I guess look at the shoes, look at the condition, look at the make, like you would with anything.
I normally would not buy charity shop shoes, but since I hurt my achilles tendon most shoes are out of bounds to me. I did see the cutest pair of retro green high heels that I should have bought however (even if they would have crippled me to wear.)
Gosh rambling post, I am feeling a bit fuzzy headed tonight, I think that was worse than usual!0 -
Freedom Friday item was my German Army coat that I thought I'd got rid of but I found it at the back of the wardrobe during the grand clear out. Think I'm going to be wearing that more often as it seems to be getting colder again!

told everyone at work about my pregnancy, so was able to wear something and not worry about hiding my expanding belly!!
So had a freedom day yesterday. Wore a dress that I bought a few years ago for a nightout! Teamed it with a pair of leggings and boots, to dress it down slightly. Was so comfortable round my belly and even looked good! :T
