I will be doing the children's separately, and three of them will need new school uniforms this year, plus have all shot up dramatically! I think I will be budgeting £300 for each of them, that's to include everything including school uniforms.
I will be trying to eBay as much as possible on top of this to hopefully get some items for free, ie, I sell something and use that money to buy something else, this should help:)
Welcome to the challenge JAMIEDODGERscotmumof3 wrote: ȣ3.48 spent yesterday on a vogue top and a jumper from cs. Talked myself out of new boots :T
Well done scotmumof3 for talking yourself out of the boots :TWell we have been up bright and early this morning 6 am - when Sunday is my only lye in day  So going to have a walk to the local car boot , bearing this challenge in mind so I don't spend unless its a fantastic bargain on clothing . I think £5 maximum spend if it is clothing today
Will report later if I have opened my purse or not
Sorry you missed out on a lie in keys, you'll just have to have an early night tonight.0 -
Hi All, I will have spends to declare but not sure how much, all i know is I have spent too much money on clothes this weekend! I conveniently forgot about this challenge temporarily and now feeling guilty! I blame the bloke telling me after a few months that "he just wants to be mates" so needed to cheer myself up! Grrrr men! (apologies to any men on here)

still no spends on clothes, however i have been selling a few bits on ebay! nothing has sold for much but its all pennies in my pocket! Was debt free then ex walked out and COVID hit.0

The OH refuses to buy new trousers for the office because he insists he has ones that fit "somewhere" ...
I dont think there are many men on here tbh lol!0 -
Popped into The Wardrobe on it's opening day yesterday (the new store that sells clothes for you and splits the sale price 50/50) I did resist a gorgeous LK Bennet dress, kinda square neckline, cap sleeves and a sort of twist in the body shape - made of lovely tweedy material. It was £45 and if I wore proper office wear a lot I'd have had it - but decided I didn't need it. Fingers crossed a few of the items I took in there to sell went. Resisted shoes on TK Maxx site I was considering (now OOS in my size) and still in need of replacement bra that desosited it's wire somewhere in our washing machine....Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hello & welcome to JAMIEDODGER - great to have you here :j
Well done to supasick & Ruby Eskimo for managing to not buy anything :T
Nice resistance there on the boots scotmumof3 :T
I've been through my wardrobe again & have ejected 2 dresses & 1 skirt that I'm now bored of to the 'Should You Stay Or Should You Go ? ' pile.
Will give it a couple of weeks & then if still not worn, they will go.
I want my wardrobe to be full of things I actually wear regularly, not just now & then.
Tomorrow will be Freedom Monday; I'll be wearing a lovely grey ASOS dress that's not been out in a while, mainly because it creases just if you look at wrong :rotfl:
I love it though so it'll just have to get creased0 -
More spending to declare: got a going out dress on eBay and some Carvela going out boots, both of which I wanted when it was in the shops but didn't buy at the time :j
I've been selling clothes I never wear online so got these things for 'free' with the paypal balance, woohoo!
Though it's made me reconsider purchases more carefully, for a £28 pair of boots I had to sell like 5 things to raise the money lol0 -
Morning all, glad to see challenges are continuing.
I had a little bit of a spend last Tuesday, have kept all of my receipts but not totted it all up yet. 2 gorgeous tops, but more worryingly a grey fitted skirt (I have 3 exactly the same, all of which are currently ill fitting).
As a result I am way over budget for January. I have decided on a no spend February, something I have never done before.
I am doing the crazy clothes challenge in conjunction with a decluttering plan, it is all going slowly to say the least. I am hanging onto the idea that it takes 21 days for a new idea to embed and become a habit.
Have a great day everyone and keep up the good work.
