    depression kicking in, I want to shop... hmmmmm

    Maybe I should virtual shop like some of you lovely peeps =)

    ..
    I'm doing this at the moment with fabric and sewing patterns, planning my spring/summer/holiday wardrobe. :D

    I have decided I'm returning the Monsoon buys. They don't really fit into my wardrobe, they're for wearing now and not for summer and I need to get spring/summer clothes. Also I think althought the trousers fit so well they are for wearing in the evening and I have plenty of hardly worn clothes already I need to utilise for nights out...how sensible is that:T.

    In Debenha*s yesterday I didn't really see anything I REALLY wanted so saved my vouchers for when I feel shopping withdrawal symptoms and I have a plan for Summer of what I NEED.

    These aren't cheap and would blow your budget (if you're counting shoes?) but I got these (well OH bought them) in Sept and I have worn them tonnes already

    http://www.schuh.co.uk/red-or-dead/womens-dark-brown-red-or-dead-joss/1564086120

    They are really soft leather and I wear them with jeans, leggings and dresses, they're also smart enough to wear for an evening out for a meal or casual drinks as well as wearing in the day. I would say they are worth every penny (and I'm fussy about boots) They do come up quite small (I'm a 4 and these felt quite tight to begin with) but they do give.

    Oooh they are lovely! I think unfortunately I am going to have to count shoes in my budget as I really am struggling for money at the moment :(

    I was looking in the Kurt Geiger sale yesterday as suggested by someone else but ended up stopping myself buying anything.

    I think it is going to have to be a really considered purchase and maybe a lot of crossing fingers that something nice comes up in the charity shops.

    I will have to add these to my lottery win wish list though :)

    I have had some nice cheap boots from Peacocks, but not ones that have lasted more than two winters. I love the fit of boots from Duo, but again, they are pricey.
  • I am very hard on boots/shoes so went for a £19.99 pair from New Look with the thought that they would only do me one winter although if they last longer it will be a bonus

    Thanks Fairy & kerri gt
    I will have to take a look in Matalan for the wellie socks - As its a drive away I will have to go one day this week and hope they still have them in stock - Otherwise will take a trip to Primani . I was hoping to go last week in my car but I failed my driving test :( so now have to wait for oh to have a day off work to company me in the car - he hates shopping , so will have to find a compromise of some sort ;) . Got my test booked again for in a few weeks so fingers crossed for then :cool:

    I managed to pop to a few cs shops this week and got dd a
    brand new next L / S top with a £10 tag still on for £1.50 Next 3/4 white trousers for £1.50 - I am trying to build her summer wardrobe in the sales and cs shops and bag all away so she has a new season wardrobe when summer comes { to stop me from spending when it comes }:o
    I got myself river island denim shorts from cs shop also for £2.99
    - will wear these with tights now and wear them in summer also , in the hope to save money also :o

    I have also noticed when im shopping in cs shops and the sales online most of the items I like that are reduced are usually in a size that doesn't fit me :(..Like the River Island jeans I saw in cs shop the other day in a size 8 - {I sometimes fit in that size but mainly a size 10}
    I have an idea if anyone is interested which I am going to do -
    I am going to purchase the jeans for £4 that I have seen in the style I want , I am then going to sell them on flebay - In exchange with the funds I am going to purchase the same style in my correct size - { I hear you think this is alot of hassle with no gain !!???! }
    Well the ones I want are currently going for £20 ish on Flebay - So I sell mine for around that price - so after p& p , fees etc I gain the ones I want along with a bit of profit ;)
    Making this a bit of a challenge for myself .

    Does this appeal to anyone or do you think its a daft idea ???
