Just a quick update, no further spends to report. So I still have £250 remaining of my £300 budget.
I did sort out my wardrobe last weekend, large bag of items taken to the charity shop and vacuum packed the clothes I no longer fit into (but hoping to)
Keep up the good work everyoneCrazy Clothes Challenge 2012 - £80.00 / £300 :hello:0 -
No spends to declare but the urge is growing! I'm determined not to spend anything, as I'm pregnant, and would feel its just a waste. I really need to get my previous mat clothes out and try and sort them out into outfits. I really like the idea of having my wardrobe as my own fashion boutique.... just need some motivation to do it!Debt Free Roll of Honor #598

He is right but I hope to overcome my vanity once the weather starts improving.
What is everyone else's opinion on the Excercise shoe with Office wear look, that you often see around the City?
I drive past people heading to the station to commute to London etc every morning and loads of the lovely ladies are wearing trainers with work attire - simple assumption is that it's just not practical to walk any great distance in 6" heels. Who wants to start work all hot and sweaty with sore feet and blisters?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Oh, meant to mention on a slighlty down note for my budget, I tried the down lined jacket I ordered today (left the tags in) and it's certainly snuglly and warm....now have to decide if I'm keeping that and/or the parka and if so that's £50 out of my budget...Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Thank you ladies,
I'll let you know how I get on:)0 -
Lianne have you seen the gadgets you can get to make a normal pair of trousers a maternity one, or a band you wear round your bump to make tops longer? Could help with your spend.0

I'm in this situation too - bras are definitely a no-no from the chariity shop! I've had a quick look at your blog. Are you going to post more this year?! I'd be interested in seeing how you grow your summer wardrobe.
Ooh my blog...I'd forgotten about that. I just never seem to keep it up. Maybe it might be a good idea to use it to help me with my wardrobe planning for the summer as you said. I really must get back to carboot hunting as I should be able to manage to get together some great bargonious outfits if I do...hopefully.
On the underwear front a £3 spend to report. I got 5 pairs of nice knickers for 50p each from the M&S outlet shop and a pair of brown opaque tights for 50p to replace a pair I had to throw out last week. That should be enough now to keep me going for a few months:D.
I resisted spending on some lovely things in the Ad*das Outlet but promised my self a reward of going back there in a couple of months to treat myself, at the start of spring to some summer fitness wear and make do just now with what I've got. ATM I'm wearing a pair of cropped leggings from Pinea*ple that are still in a big size but do the job still and a vest and top from P*imark. I will wear them till I've washed them to death, that's my goal:rotfl:.
Still have my £38 voucher to spend in Debenhams from a xmas pressie but will save it to spend in a couple of weeks when I have time to browse and take my time over purchases and have worked out what I need most.Grocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)

I decided this winter to invest in a couple of good quality coats to keep me dry and warm and hopefully last me a number of years, so bought the down filled long coat from m*s in one of their pre new year sales and its been lovely and warm - and should last me an infinite number of years and a waterproof long padded coat from cragho**ersalso in their pre new year sale and that also has been good (I cycle and walk a lot as I dont at the mo. have a car). I have been looking for a quality harris tweed type coat but alas, haven't found one and now I am on this challenge will have to really think twice about that (unless I can get DH to buy it for me and that would be very very unlikely). So yes, the down one has been the one to keep me snuggly and warmwith longevity thrown in!

Hiya everyone
The trainers with workwear debate - go for it! Everyone will understand you're wearing the best shoes for walking so getting fit too + taking care of your better shoes so they'll last longer :T:T:T
No spends to report here just thought i'd let you know how i'm getting on with some clothing challenges though. As i said i've no room for all my clothes and the lifting stuff out and deciding what i'll wear again is working well as i've listed several items on eb*y this weekend :T Just hoping they'll sell nowAnd i've not even been through my whole wardrobe yet - just lifting some things out, a few at a time, having them around a few days and then accepting i won't wear them again
I *do* have quite a few clothes that are too small for me but i *do* love these clothes (won't go out of fashion) and they'll be a good measure for my weight lossI have been told by the doctor that i have to exercise - something i used to love doing but i seem to spend all my time getting money in and i used to love going to the gym but again no time or money for this
So, i started a little exercise routine yesterday :T:T:T And completed Day 2 of this today :T:T:T And i weighed myself this morning - now ideally i've got 3 stone to lose but i was about 1/2 a stone lighter than my usual weight this morning so i just put the first 2 stone in my sig for now and then reassess once i hit target
And when i've lost this weight it will be like shopping from my own boutique with all the clothes i've got that are too small just now :j:j:j Oooh i can't wait to get this weight off!
