I'd really like to join this challenge please. I lost weight last year, had a huge clear out and bought loads of new clothes so I really don't need anything this year at all!
So I'm going to be brave and aim for no spending on clothes all year!LBM Feb 2005 - £36000:o DFD 28th May 2012

Goodness, my budget isn't even going to last til the end of January at this rate! Although I finally now have everything to wear to my brothers wedding next month so can start avoiding the clothes shops altogether.
I have bought a shrug for £15 from Coast (should have been £55), jewellery from Debs for £4.50 (should have been £15) and black shoes from Debs as well, they were full price at £30 but scanned through the till at £24, hurray!
Also had a £10 gift voucher for M&S so put this towards stomach hiding pants, left £9.50 to pay and picked up a £3 bra in clearance and 2 pairs of patterned tights for £1 each, the full price for the tights was £12  Its no wonder they were in clearance!
I think that means I have spent £68 of my £100 budget :eek::eek:
Lets see how long the last £32 can last me!!No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018

Hi all,
Naughty purchase of a purple tunic dress from Warehouse which was bought purely for a perk me up. Didn't even bother to try it on! So not officially declaring it until I've tried it on! Have remembered I'm going out on Saturday with a bunch of girls who are total fashionistas. Half of me wants to go blow the budget on a new dress, rest of me wants to just wear something I already have. Exceot I don't have anything. But I must do. But I don't ...arrrggggghhhhh!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

That's why underwear, jewellery and shoes aren't in my budget!! I can spend what I want on thise - but mainly because that isn't a problem, it's the clothes that get me!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

Hiya everyone
I have been meaning to say about CS shopping for a while - the ones near me are very expensive in my opinion - expecially with sales on when you can buy current season / exactly what you want for the same pricee.g even torn - not just stitching undone but actual material torn dresses are over £10 each - and they aren't even a very expensive label
Hoping to get out to some carboots later in the year and hopefully nab some bargains from these which should help my budget a fair bit too
And jumble / rummage sales - ooh how i miss these!CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hello all!Just checking in to catch up on the thread really. No spends to declare, yippee! Luckily I bought three "going-out" tops before Christmas and have managed so far to rotate these so everytime I go out with a different group, I feel like I'm wearing something new. :-)Another 2lbs lost this week. One pair of work trousers feel too big now and I keep having to hoick them up but I do have a pair hidden somewhere in the wardrobe which are a size too small (bought in sale last time I went on a health kick thinking I'd slim into them) so should manage a while longer.Keep up the good work xxx0

No spends to report as of today: really haven't seen anything I fancy on the rare occasions I've been to the shops. Nothing made from the fabric stash, either:o Early days, though.:D‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
