Hello again mesdames & messieurs,
well done to those who got through May with their budgets untouched :T.
Hello & welcome to our new recruits :
hollykb, LilySue (I recognise that name, I think you've done this before ?) & pencakes26. May you enjoy your time here & NOT spend much money on clothes
Me ? well, I seem to have swapped my shoes & bags habit for an underwear one :rotfl: I spent £39.50 in M&S, but had £left on my gift card so it cost me £34.50 in hard cash.
£120.80 left in the budget & I've been through my wardrobe again & have released some more items back in to the wild. I'm in the process of filling box for a car boot sale ... not sure it will ever happen though
Spent last week wearing trackie pants while up a ladder doing painting & am back at work this week & back to wearing boots again too0 -
 So I have a slit in my skirt ( right at the bum ) and I will have to blow my budget for the year on a new skirt at lunchtime. It is currently held together by some staples.:rotfl:CC consolidated to £3400

Hello all!
I'm sure I may have said somewhere on here that I wasn't going to spend in June, hmmm...
Bought a jacket from Debs for £32 and some jeans from Evans (size 18 too :T) at £22 using some birthday money, so not really official spends...
The jeans I bought to dye, well finally got round to giving it a go last night (took 3 x 40degree cycles at 2.5hrs each:eek:) flamingo pink though the stitching has remained white - they look really cool0 -

Yikes! hope you didn't staple it while you were wearing it :rotfl:
jeans from fleabay arrived today, its a bit of a Goldilocks case, ones i originally had are a bit small, these are annoyingly too big, so the size in between would be just right - unfortunately I don't think the seller accepts returns so that could be a complete waste of cash - serve me right for getting brave on fleabay after a few beers:o however, she did send me another pair initally be accident which are also too big, so she might accept the others back - though two pairs of jeans to the US could cost what I paid anyway

Might it be just as good to re-sell them on fleabay do you think? That way someone else would pay the postage! I've never used fleabay it seems a bit big and scary to me does that sound silly? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Kerri gt: Thanks for the concerns J
I have done this before for a pair of trousers when the bottom came loose. It workes like a charm with thick material.
It held until i got home, Also realized if i turn it to the side then it is not as noticeable.
Have checked out some shops and they were selling these sewing kits for 4.50 !! i rather spend that on a new skirt.CC consolidated to £3400

15 days and I've not spent a thing. I think this is the longest I've ever gone without buying clothes...:o0

Yes, looks like I'm going to have to resell - luckily there is a free listing weekendNo it doesn't sound silly, lots of things are scary if you're not used to them, it's not as good for sellers as it used to be as fees have gone up but you can pick up some bargains on there (and some awful tat too) thing is with clothes it's very hit and miss since you can't try things on beforehand. My own silly fault for not waiting and checking out the sizing a bit more closely
