Hmmm, I'm thinking about returning those heeled brogues from Rubbersole I purchased, given the fact they've been sat in the spare room for 3 weeks now and not been out of the box

    Hi everyone!!
Is it too late to join in with this??? I am new to the forum so have been looking through the challenges and this one seems a good place to start :) I don't tend to go on big shopping sprees, but I am a bit naughty with impulse internet purchases!!
I would like to set myself a budget of £150 for June to December, and so far have spent nothing in June!! :D
    Total debts April 2013: £23,389.01
Debt free target date: 20th February 2015 (for a debt free 30th celebration :T)

If you are still accepting newbies, yes please I'll join in, with a budget of £150 from June until December ( thank you hollykb that sounds like a sensible amount :0) )

    Hi Folks,

Rosemary and verynewmoneysaver, well done on beating the shops at their own game, it warms my heart to hear such stories :rotfl:

kerri gt - returning the brogues sounds like a plan, I have lots of shoes that I never wear, I figure if I don't start wearing them straightaway then I didn't really need them. Now I'm just saving them for when the ones I am wearing finally give up the ghost :D

Welcome to the newbies hollykb and Lily Sue - enjoy being part of the challenge.:)

Good grief, not posted in here for absolutely ages. I can report a NS May as I bought plenty of Summer clothes for my April holiday and have absolutely no plans for buying anything else till the Autumn, unless I wear out my favourite P*imark tee or need new footless tights, but that will be small spends. I went into the city on saterday and tried quite alot on but nothing said "Buy Me" at all. I did LOOOVE a pair of DM's in Sc*uh and was practically forced into buying them by my OH as he felt guilty for buying a new bike, but am returning them on saterday as I don't NEED them and i want to put that ridiculous amount of money I paid for them in my savings towards another holiday instead:D

Adding another £8 spend on a new top for myself. Can't complain really, it's the first top I've bought this year lol

That's me and DH up to £48 so far for the year, not bad considering we have a wedding in August time x
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

latest update on the Marks skirt, just had an email from them and they now have a half price sale......including the skirt!!!so has gone from £30 to 20% off to 50% off in less than two weeks:mad:I will keep mine as the 50% is only off the other colourway so may buy that as well but still very annoying:(am now waiting in for the delivery which they say could be anytime between 7 am and 9 pm!!!!!
  • Have made my first purchase - a t-shirt from Next for £12 and some new socks 4 pairs for £8. Think I might have to buy a plain navy skirt if I see one I like for the Summer
