    hello all!

I too have yet more shopping confessions - Matalano, Sunday morning, cardi and sandals to go with dress Hubby has bought me for my birthday, white cropped pants and some undies £53 in total!

Today I have ordered 2 more pairs of white jeans from catalogue for £13 (not includiing delivery charge) as the pair I bought from there recently now has a huge yellowy sun cream stain that I can't shift. I'm going to try dyiing them a bright colour and, if it works, I'm going to dye one of the pairs I've just ordered.

Oh, and those shorts I bought Hubby on Thurs... ripped after wearing them for about an hour whilst we were out, so I had to find a shop that sold mens clothes in the little seaside town we were visiting whilst he hid in the van!

That's awful, I hope you're going to take them back and complain?

Right Lula et al, I have updated my totals properly - official spend to declare to day £223.33 / £500 (so kind of on target but summery weather is threatening to scupper that :o) That does include those brogues from Rubbersole which I haven't 100% decided on and need to soon.

Spend on sports / dancewear which isn't included £68.97 (although £7.48 was fleabay money so really £61.49) on the following
    • Goth dress for photo shoot / performances
    • black angel wings for photo shoot / performancs (paid by fleabay)
    • new grey vest top (sport / dance)
    • raspberry nike vest top (sport / dance)
    • black slash back vest top (dance / performance - been coverting this for ages and ordered with my grey vest top to make the most of the p&p costs)
Bad news is that all the 5 above spends were made in May - whoops! :o

Hi guys, haven't posted in ages, I think I broke my set budget for the year already :-o i totted up everything I bought this year clothingwise, mostly ebay, 54 items! No wonder my wardrobe's overflowing again... Saying that I'm really pleased with these pieces i think i'll get good use out of them :-D I'm not sure whether to set another budget for the rest of the year or just be sensible in general?

finally bought a skirt:) after ages buying nothing so total now down to £290.it was from Marks and I paid full price(£30) which is not like me but think I was suffering from lack of clothes buying in recent weeks:rotfl:it is short and full with a belt in white with different colours so will match a few tops:)I wore an East multi colour dress twice recently with a shrug of one of the colours and was complimented each time on how co ordinated I was:):)
also bought a pair of shoes, stilletos from Marks in a sort of mushroom colour, also full price but i don't include shoe sin my budget.was pleased to find them at £20 as have a lot of trouble getting shoes wide enough and actually some of the sandals were too wide!!!

Well I too have bought new clothes! pair of cropped Jade green casual shorts(F & F)and a really pretty linen white sleeve less top with self tie ribbon at back(M&S) from CS total cost £6.28. Wore them to death over last weekend -washed top twice, and it washes a dream!

Did buy another CS top for a presentation went to on Friday -but it's going back so I freed a little silk beige and grey top that I bought a couple of years ago and teamed it with my gold sequin shrug and black trousers for a bit of shine on stage!

Pulled out loads of clothes in a frenzy and tried loads on,prior to going out and there are quiet a few that I doubt will wear again, basically as either I have lost weight or I no longer like them.

Oh and I seriously need to sort my shoes out! Why I have kept two pair of shoes that the dog has chewed I have no idea:o

Just popping to declare another no spend month.

I've got loads of clothes to free as the weather gets better, and I'm now able to go shopping with friends without thinking about buying clothes.
    :)

  • Hi All! I have 2 new purchases from Tuesday that I forgot to declare until I looked at my bank account!

A stripy silky top and a fine knit summer top - both from Mango. I had vouchers as presents so only declaring the £13 of my own cash.

Nearly bought some new work shoes, but they didn't have my size. Glad as I've just been sent a 20% off voucher for Clarks! So they'll be £7 cheaper if I do end up getting them.

Off to a wedding in Liverpool this weekend, so I'll be going via Cheshire Oaks - eek! Will try not to blow the budget!!

Just a quick update to confirm that I’ve had another no spend month in May :j

It was close a couple of times, and I’m sure there’ll have to be some in June or July as I’m looking for shoes and socks, plus maybe replacing some worn out items (or maybe I’ll have to dig stuff out of the wardrobe instead ;)). So 2012 running totals remain:-

    Cash – £0/150 spent
House Of Fraser Vouchers – £36/122
    M&S Vouchers – £0/50

    NSFeb
    NSMar
    NSApr

    NSMay

May contain nuts. Your mileage may vary. Batteries not included. Thanks to all posters :D

  • Well done hudswell & antwacky & anyone else with no spend May (and longer!)

I'm not doing that well, but better than I would have been had I not been signed up to the challenge!
