I'm deleting £10 off my yearly spend so far, I returned the wee pair of shoes I bought. Tried the left one on in the shop and it fit me, tried the right on at home and it doesn't lol x
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

    Hi Folks,

I'm declaring a No Spend for me for May. :T

I've unpacked all my summer gear so I feel like I have a brand new wardrobe again :D and I've had a couple of Freedom Days as I've worn 2 suit jackets (on different days) with jeans, white shirt and black boots as I was going for the 'classic look' :rotfl:Just hope I didn't look too much like an eighties throwback ;)

    Hello lovely peeples,

well done those who have scythed their way through May without even the teensiest purchase - I bow to your dedication :A

    Guess what ?

    I've bought more stuff :o:rotfl:

Hot weather revealed some holes in my wardrobe & annoyingly, some holes in lots of my tops too  always at the front, & about 3 inches up from the hem. I'm not sure if it's a fabric fault or if I have a moths problem but either way I bought some new vest tops for £8.30 & a couple of pairs of linen crops for £16.00 before heading off to buy cedar wood moth reppellants for £6.00 - but I'm not counting them :p.

As I have a rather large deficit in my clothes allowance & am rather rubbish at doing sums in minuses, I've decided the best option is to give my budget a boost by adding another £200 to it.

I now have £155.30 left in my budget which is much easier to calculate ... I know, it's shameful, but hey - I work hard to earn my money to do as I please with ( once essentials are paid for of course :D)

Any more No Spenders for May ?

We're only just into the month and I.ve blown it already, spent £12 on a t shirt and socks for the gym. But last night I freed a new blouse I'd bought and not worn, and it looked good wit black jeans so I'm :)

I haven't posted in ages as haven't bought anything in a while :j I went shopping yesterday with the intention of getting some new stuff and there was nothing in the shops. Ended up getting an £8 blouse from primark and a £12 t-shirt from next.

finally bought a skirt:) after ages buying nothing so total now down to £290.it was from Marks and I paid full price(£30) which is not like me but think I was suffering from lack of clothes buying in recent weeks:rotfl:it is short and full with a belt in white with different colours so will match a few tops:)I wore an East multi colour dress twice recently with a shrug of one of the colours and was complimented each time on how co ordinated I was:):)
also bought a pair of shoes, stilletos from Marks in a sort of mushroom colour, also full price but i don't include shoe sin my budget.was pleased to find them at £20 as have a lot of trouble getting shoes wide enough and actually some of the sandals were too wide!!!
well so much for me paying full price........both items now 20% off sooooo have ordered through topcashback(3%) plus free delivery and the 20% and will take them back to store on original receipt so roughly £6 to go back on my total(£296)
was a bit annoyed as only got on monday!!!,wonder how many other peoplke will do the same?
  • I have done the same. Took back trousers and skirt I ordered full price and rebought with the 20% off. Forgot the cashback site though!
