    Hi all!

Well, I've finally dyed both those pairs of white jeans, one flamingo pink and one bahama blue. They look fab and I'm toying with the idea of dying the third white pair a funky colour as it never seems sunny enough anymore for white jeans. It's worked out at almost £12 per pair (cost of jeans + dye) but saw some the same colour blue in Evans today for £35!!!!

Oldtractor - i can't decide if you're amazing or bonkers ;), 5 years no clothes shopping??? I'd not survive. Hope you succeed though :)

rosyq - I used to see clothes shopping as a hobby, it's a hard habit to break but I'm buying more because I need it than spontaneous splurges :)

Clothes shopping was a definite hobby for me too, I loved it. Unfortunately my bank balance did not love it.

I was on a plateau for ages but this week have really started to lose it:) so much so my skirt nearly fell down:eek:(big waist small hips )I bought the Phase eight skirt in a size that was comfy but am wondering if should have gone smaller, they are not very generous sizes so am a 16 with them,14 with East and a 12 with Marks!!!!
going to a ball on friday, would love a new dress as been wearing the same three for years now but want to lose more.I tried them on last night and was horrified to see a row of beads had come off and I had lost them:(I spent ages online looking at dresses inc some lovely ones on ebay but don't think I'd dare buy from there because of fit.
  • Hi All,

This thread is definitely making me thing twice about clothes shopping! :)

    Spends this month:
Pjs - £7, used Mr T vouchers to buy a top & cardigan so not part of budget.
Bought some Linen Trousers but remembered already had some in my wardrobe so will have a look and the others might be going back.

Will update with full spends soon.

Well done to everyone for with no spends :)

Hello supasick glad to see you back, I was wondering where you were!

I've managed to free a few items when the sun's shown its face, including wearing a suit jacket with jeans which has even drawn a compliment from OH! He's 'sparing' with compliments so I was very :D
Thanks for the messages, and well done rosemary54 on your weight loss :)

    hi all!

rosemary, weight lss is why I've bought so many clothes this year, I've been trying to buy in the sales and when items don't fit anymore Hubby has been fleabaying them.

Just bought a T-shirt in Debs sale at lunchtime to go with my newly dyed blue jeans, oops! I was looking for something to buy Hubby for his birthday.... That's another £11 to confess.

I have lost a load of weight over the last year meaning for this spring and summer not many of my clothes fitted having gone from a size 14 to size 8-10.

I've bought lots :o but from the sales especially from marks which seem to have turned into debs and dfs with how regular their sales are.

Whats been really nice is trying new styles that I wouldn't have worn before, like a long skirt for £11 instead of £39.50. Just waiting for the last order to turn up now of 2 lightweight jackets. My mum now has my favourite jacket as its way too big, oh well....

Sadly though I'm finding it quite hard to stay out of the sales so will have to try really hard next month!

does anyone use those clothes shaver things? i'm tempted to buy one off ebay as my cardi's are very bobbly as is one of my kids matresses even tho it's pretty new i got an argos matress protector and it sent it abit funny, it's only £1.70 so won't break the bank but i'm wondering if it's worth it.

I got one of those from Wilko's for about a quid and I think it's fab - so much faster than taking the little fluffballs off by hand or with sticky tape.
