just spent a lovely hour in my bedroom trying on the Laura Ashley clothes that arrived today:)decided I def prefer online shopping as get nice new items previosly unworn by all and sundry in the shops, can try on with other stuff in my wardrobe and sometime find unexpected outfits and get cashback too plus save time and money on trip into town where may or may not find things, all in all a win win situation.have ended up with a magenta shrug that goes beautifully with a long East dress from last year and makes me look slimmer too:),a tunic top with butterflies that will go with several colours and two cardis one that I loved instore with bright red flowers on and one that DH preferrred with lilac and green butterflies.:):):):)now all I need is some sunny weather to wear all my new outfits!
had a "why are you wearing this?" moment last night when the skirt I have had since last year suddenly did not suit me anymore:eek:(mid calf East lilac print)it is actually now too big since I lost 11 lbs so that did not help.most of my skirts are now a bit shorter and a lot fuller and I think they give me more of an hour glass shape(thanks Gok)plus my legs look better so am going to sell some stuff on fleabay even if only for a few quid.
  • I'm declaring £11 for 4 fitted t-shirts, were in sale and had a voucher towards them, will wear for work & casual so get moneys worth :).

    Some more spends to declare.

A rather beautifully bargainous pair of patterned trousers from Autograph M+S for £5 and a metallic pencil skirt from per una for £5. Then a lovely pink sleeveless bloyse for £15.90 using 20% off voucher. All fit perfectly and are GREAT!

Today I spent £7 on some boring nickers from M&S. I seem to spend all my budget on socks and nickers :(
I haven't managed a no-spend June so I'll try harder in July. Respect to those of you who still haven't spent :T

I got an unworn pair of next jeans for £12.00, bargain. I am also looking for a red cardigan but cannot find the right one.

Quite happy with how my budget is going for the year. I would love to work on a capsule wardrobe but perhaps that is just a dream.

Am amazed to find that we're halfway through the year and I've spend less than half of my budget :o:rotfl:.

I've worn and love everything I've bought this quarter, apart from the hat which er, needs sun. I did consider taking it back so I could have a no real spend June but it's a bit late and I really like it so it's staying. The slippers from Sainsbugs have stretched terribly and now my feet slide around in them, so although they're pretty they are probably going to annoy me and end up in the bin shortly :(.

I guess I didn't buy winter boots this year, just eked out the previous ones - won't get away with that for another winter so should probably try and keep some budget for them. I also haven't really bought any summer stuff as I have a couple of pairs of sandals and Skechers that are still fine, and it hasn't been sunny enough to need more sandals. And I realised that I do have enough work clothes already, so haven't bought any. Not even for the conference where I usually have to have my photo taken - I decided the confidence boost of the Fat Face dress I wanted wasn't worth the £40 that could come off my total  *pinches self but appears to still be me*.

Still haven't Ebayed anything but all in good time :rotfl:
