Found a rather gorgeous jersey top from J1gsaw in Oxfam today, so £11 added to sig and total now £206.

Quite surprised to realise that's just about in proportion for the 5th month of the year :D ... but need sandals IF we ever get any sun, and have my eye on both a dress in FatFacial (fits me, suits me, fab for work) and some jeans in Gapp (haven't tried them yet).

well i just took back the shoes I bought from TKM last week so that's £22 back. They were nice enough, but since they haven't moved from the spot I left them when I got them home I figured I prob wasn't in love with them - and that's £22 towards my budget busting ones from ribbersole that are still on their way to me. budget kinda on track so far, but looking very dull, spends mainly made up of vest tops, bras and leggings.

Went to a certain store and came out with the £10 meal deal and a new bra. (Went into the underwear section while I was still relaxed and not carrying anything. :D) Total updated.

I had another near - buying incident today in Uniqlo in London. I told OH I could feel an attack of the spends coming on, yet he positively encouraged me to try things on! Luckily nothing fit/suited me so I came away empty handed. Note to self though - don't take OH to clothes shops he's as bad as me!

    Hello all,

shamefully, I've already busted my No Spend May & am in a clothes budget overdraft :o.

I decided I would give myself the £15 back from the M&S gift card that I used for DD ... so went shopping on Friday & inspite of trying really hard to find something with my voucher, I couldn't & ended up buying a fab pair of palazzo pants in TKM for £21 :shhh:. I've worn them twice already although now that DD has named them my 'clown pants' I'm not so sure :rotfl:.

    BUSTED my budget & now at-£5.40 :o

Oh well Lula, as has been said, at least you are thinking about what you are buying, even if you were a bit too strict with your budget! I am thinking that I might need a new 'posh' winter coat and have £70 to do it with. But having said that, I would probably wear it 2-3 times a year so might make do with what I have.

My son used to make horrible, cruel comments about my clothes and hair when he was younger... I had to develop a really thick skin.

Not sure why he did this, as he's not really a nasty person, but finally he said something within earshot of his older sister, who went absolutely apesh*t with him. He never did it again.

I find palazzo pants soooo comfortable but have to be careful as I've nearly tripped myself up on stairs with them. I'm sure they look great!

Ha ha, exactly that with the steps mccullough :D

I very nearly came a cropper in the gallery ... it's all about the recovery though, I did a semi pirouette as though my attention had been grabbed by something behind me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think I 've busted my budget too. I orded quite a few sale items as a treat to cheer myself up when I wad poorly and for passing a dreaded assignment.

Will pick them up on Sat to see if they fit etc do will see then. Did include 2 pairs of badly needed work trousers that were pretty cheap.

Also bought 3 pairs of socks reduced to £1.75 ready for autmn from the
supermarket. Have enough underwear and tights and socks now to not need any later in the year apart from either a white or nude bra now my size has changed
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333

I've actually done a week with no clothes shopping! :) A miracle for me but seems to spent my money on a lot of socialising instead! Did attempt to sort my wardrobe but not good whilst got the pmt bloat as didn't like anything!

On a plus found a couple tunic type tops that can wear to work over black trousers :) And determined I am not going to town today how much i feel i need to! EH xx
