brown print on beige, washed canvas with lime green writing and cotton reels, a useful zipped pocket inside and various lovely features. Too cute to stay in the online shop.

loving the warm weather but boy does it get cold at night:eek:trying to decide what to wear last night to go to the cinema was a nightmare and then got annoyed with myself as ended up in black top and pants with a raspberry velvet jacket...ok looked alright but not very summery!DH thought I was mad to worry as sat in the dark all night anyway and i was still cold when we went out!!!(why do cinemas turn the air con up full on hot days?went with DS3 once in shorts and t shirt and nearly froze to death:rotfl:

friends round for supper tomorrow so now thinking about what to wear....nothing too precious when cooking so still not worn my new Mango cardi that has been in the wardrobe for 3 weeks now:eek:

    Ladies & Gentleman :hello:

sorry for long time - no post, been rather busy helping DD1 move into her new place & taming the [STRIKE]jungle[/STRIKE] garden :D.

I confess that there have been a few spends by me :o however they've all been ebay ones & pretty damn bargainous if I may so. My magic bidding finger has won me 4 summery tops - last years ones looking rather more shabby than chic - , a fab little orangey red & daisy print crinkle frock ( well, it wasn't when it arrived but was so voluminous it just wafted about me so I screwed it up & now it looks fab :j) & a pair of brand new river island jeans which sadly, I'm not getting any cashback for :(

This is what happens after downloading the ebay ap for your phone, refraining from bidding on said item last thing at night & then waking up in the morning still thinking about item, rolling over turning alarm off & bidding before being properly awake.

Quidco app doesnt work for cashback on phone so must NEVER do that again.

Anyway, all this spending has decimated my budget quite dramatically, to the paltry & rather alarming sum of just £21.82

I still have the £20 M&S giftcard but that will probably not get used until I need more tights in the autumn.

I'm rather _pale_, it seems that ebaying stuff may be my only option unless I can stretch £22 for the next 9 months :rotfl:Fortunately I do not need any shoes, sandals or bags. I do need to get out the trunk of summer clothes & hope that something fits :rotfl:.

Weight loss so far = 6lbs
Necessary weight loss to fit into rest of wardrobe = 14lbs

    Have a lovely weekend all
    xx

My first spends of the year, nearly made it to a spend-free March, but have only spent £30 and got some GREAT bargains.
    Most importantly, I'll wear them.
From Primarni, a blush coloured cotton-viscose long length cardigan, useful pockets at front. It has a slight marl effect and is very pretty, very light.
Two cami - vest tops, one black, one white, also from Primarni. A poly-cotton roll-neck supposedly scarlet, but I would describe it as crushed strawberry. (£2!)
From the X-Catalogue Shop, (J.D. Williams) which had a BOGOF on all ladies' day outerwear, a Gifford Fox short - sleeve jacquard knit sweater, original price £25, for £10.99. This nicely matches the new cardi. The freebie I chose was a lovely tie dye Joanna Hope jersey vest top, original price £30, that would have been £9.99. Did I need them? Well, several of my vests and cardi's are worse for wear.
That still leaves me £70 for the rest of the year.

Also worn for the first time and freed today - a very pretty black/red poppy print l/sl Anna Scholz (Debenhams) top which I got from a CS in Carmarthen, after going back 'home' for my brother's birthday last year. It's quite sheer which is why I suspect it was donated. I had a long-line red vest underneath, tucked into my trousers to disguise any muffin top. Worn with close fitting X catalogue bog - standard black trousers.

Oh dear....am on the lookout for some white trainers for the summer (neon pink converse don't quite go with everything) ..toss up between rather lovely white converse £45 from Office, or similar at about £6 from Primarni.

Am also currently under the impression I have NO summer shoes...whilst this might be a slight exaggeration, my cream mary janes are looking a bit worn (they are Me Too ones from TK Maxx a couple of years back and been worn lots) Unfortunately I have seen these and love them

Decided on coloured jeans I'm keeping, have some items to return today so declaring revised total as £99.95

Trying to motivate myself not to spend when I'm out today....could be tricky!

March was another no spend month for me as well (as was Feb) :j, and I’ve picked up another £12 of House Of Fraser vouchers via survey sites, so current 2012 running totals are:-

    Cash – £0/150 spent
House Of Fraser Vouchers – £36/122
    M&S Vouchers – £0/50

    NSFeb

    NSMar

April might be a bit tricky, as I’ll soon be needing some new dark coloured socks (not quite the high life, eh), but these are normally M&S purchases, so will use some of the vouchers I have.
