Morning all, everyone still asleep here. I did put the sc on last night and the house smells lovely this morning..:D

Plans today if the rain stops is to get everyone out into the garden for abit of a clear up. They need the fresh air and to be honest so do i. Boys bedroom back to being a mess so that has to be sorted today as well as trying to find a way for them to keep it tidy. Rhys has put 6 toliet rolls down the toliet in 2 days, we've decided to keep the bathroom door locked from the outside. I'm hoping he'll grow out of it.

Mumto5 big hugs, me and OH had the same conversation on christmas eve. He see's nothing and say's he needs to be told what to do, i think he should see the mess just as much as i do and just get on with it...:rotfl: so we're no further forward.

Right i'm gonna get the kids and OH up...

Someone forget to send the memo to the staff then cos it wasn't. Grrrrrrrr! Will go back down cos I want some of their shower gel (can't believe I didn't get ANY for Christmas) :D

Need to tidy kitchen/dining room, LR and the top of the stairs. Put my pressies upstairs (kids are better than me they did theirs Christmas Day :o ) will probs take the tinsel off the tv stand as it's annoying me now and perhaps I might make a start on packing up my bedroom ready for the move.

    Morning all :)
Hope everyone had a lovely Xmas :) We did :)
We're going to my brother in law's for tea so for now I'm going to concentrate on getting our place looking a bit more decent and get some washing done :)

    A little list here :)
    Dishes
    [STRIKE]WM on twice[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]TD on twice - Have done one load, waiting for WM to finish for second load :)[/STRIKE]
    Tidy living room
    [STRIKE]Hoover[/STRIKE] (hubby has done it :) )
    Polish
    Clean bathroom
    Mop kitchen floor
    [STRIKE]Declutter table[/STRIKE]
    Tidy front room
    Hoover front room
    Polish front room
    Iron clothes

I have way too much ironing to finish by new year but I will join in because it will still help me shift some - I also challenge myself to have clothes hanging up in wardrobes :)

Many thanx for the thread ladies x
    Catch you later,
    Jenny :) xx
Everything happens for a reason :)
  • Froddington - if I was redoing my kitchen again there are 2 major things I would change.... I would not have a tiled floor - the grout gets filthy with the dog and everyone coming in through the back door from the garden - it is also cold underfoot. The 2nd is I would not have a recirculating extractor fan because it is completely useless.(I had a proper extractor fan in the old kitchen very effective but not pretty)

    Afternoon all,

Hope everyone had a good Christmas Day, we had a lovely time at my brother and SIL they have a young family so was easier for us to go there and it was a nice feeling not to be incharge of cooking the dinner..

Came home yesterday and had a lazy day although did imanage some ironing while the kids watched Harry Potter - do find it easier to iron when i watch something on telly.

Today we are having our own christmas dinner so need to have a go at tidying up the dining room, its never used apart from me to study at the table so I need to tidy it up so we can make use of it today. Havent visited any sales may have a look at some online later always handy to get things for presents.

Hope everyone has a good day.
