Have been to Mum and Dad's today, we took her to look round a nursing home which was a bit strange. Mum has Alzheimers and Dad is struggling to look after her at home and she will need full time care soon. She seemed to warm to the place the longer we were there, but it was hard. The home was lovely and the staff we really warm and welcoming hopefully she can go there soon.

On a lighter note....I have ordered my shopping which will be here tomorrow between 12 and 2...I know you have to pay but I have decided it is SOOOO worth it.

Tomorrow I am going to have a clean through and a good tidy up, the house isn't looking too bad but this way I'll be able to keep it that way!!

DH has some friends round tomorrow afternoon so I will have time to do some filing, shredding and sorting out in the study (DH hates the sound of the shredder so I tend to leave it until he is elsewhere!!)

Right VERY tired (2.5 hr drive each way!!) Night all
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

Have been there a different illness, it does get easier when you realise that the care they are receiving is far better than what friends and family can provide at home however the first couple of weeks are very hard.

Had a fabulous day with extended family who hadnt got together in 15 years. Slightly marred by my mums arrival and news that one of my aunties died last night. It wasnt totally unexpected and my mum and other aunty both said they had still come as Jean would have wanted it and they both said they needed it. Its ironic that the purpose of the get together was so we could avoid only seeing each other for weddings, christenings and funerals.

Well i think the rest of the kitchen can stay in the state it is until tomorrow as bed is calling and there will be no alarm for tomorrow.

    Night all
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Sorry to hear the sad news of your Auntie. Our family are the same with get togethers and after each 'event' say the same thing, sadly it tends to be funerals more than anything else.

FiL and SiL visiting today so need to sort the bedrooms out ready and prep some food.

I have dw on with last nights pots and this mornings pots in my dw is a god send oh got me one as for years ive been moaning about getting one and he bought me one!!! yey and im in love wwith it, it costs me less to run the dishwasher as opposed to putting the hot water on to wash by hand as we are on pre payment meters having the dishwasher is less to run so im happy.

WM is on and doing an extra spin as i live in a flat and hardly anywhere to dry things so i try and get it as dry as possible by doing an extra spin then hanging on the airers.
