    HI everyone.

JoJo - hope everything turned out ok. Can't be pleasant for DD1 either to see Minion misbehaving. I bet there were words spoken when you went off.

Roundtuit - hope your 1st day at work went off ok.

    Boxing Day

Write a list of presents that need thank you notes(Hope someone has a list at work of which customers gave us presents - I know whose I got - will need to get some thank you cards

    Wednesday
    Delete some emails, old links

    S&S bathroom

HHI, come on you can clear that pile by the New Year
Try to get at least 10 minutes fresh air

Removed 3 items from the mending pile yesterday and started on the curtains. 2 of those items now need ironing tho. Also have found a bikini top which needs a new fastener. Can't get one before New Year so bang goes my challenge - must not use that as an excuse to leave the rest of it tho;)

    The Mournful Mound of Mending
    Thursday 18 items - 1 = 17
    Boxing Day - 3 = 14
    Wednesday - 3 items = 11 items

    Hi Everyone,
Seasons Greetings to one and all :xmassmile
I have been very busy catching up on all of the jobs I didn't do throughout the year, getting ready for PILs staying. We had them here for 5 nights, but now they have gone. :p
Quiet but pleasant Christmas here. I've been to the sales today with vouchers but only found a handbag in JL.
Since coming home, I have had a nap :jchanged our bed, and done HHI. It's a start
Back at work tomorrow just for the day, then back on the Flylady wagon bigtime.
Hugs, sticks and spoons to anyone who needs them
    xxx
    Yesterday is history
    Tomorrow is a mystery
    Today is a gift
That's why we call it 'The Present'
  • just discovered this thread and I think its just what I need! Could I join the do all ironing by NYE challenge. I reckon I have a good 3 or 4 hours worth. Should be doable with a bit of effort but I have been asked to work tomorrow and friday (it was supposed to be holiday) which has reduced the amount of time available to get it done. That said, I think thats a good thing. The more time I have, the more I waste ... sigh ...

Been a busy day here, thanks everyone for the hugs. Had a very good chat with the nurse and we're to see the doctor on tuesday. It's been left that OH takes a bag with him just incase they admit him. I think i put my points across well so fingers crossed the doctor will do something. OH now sleeping but i think he feels more positive about things. I've done alot of thinking over the last few days about all the help that is suppose to be there for OH. He's only seen every few months by his doctor, CPN only shows when OH has relapsed, HTT and even the hospital tend to contact SS when each time they say we're fine. So i've decided no more, OH's doctor will see him each month, his CPN can contact him at least twice a month even a phone call would do. I'm hoping he won't need the hospital or HTT at all in 2012 but if he does i will refuse to even speak to SS, it's only wasteing their time and mine. I'm so tired of trying to do it all myself. *sorry went into a bit of a rant* :o:o:o:o

Flying wise i've all clean washing put away and more wet stuff out. My plan is to sort the back hall and utility room tonight. I might even make a good start on the kitchen too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

 indeed! The teenagers do such a poor job here and charge me £5 so I used to go to the carwash instead :o. I suspect it is like me making terrible tea at work, no-one accepts twice.

So very true:rotfl: at least it looks better than it did ;)

Kitchen worktops all cleaned, paperwork all been sorted, calender filled in with appointments, more washing done, kitchen table and chairs wiped, floor been brushed and rubbish out. Utility room will have to wait until i get more washing done. DS1 and DD tidied the boys room so loads more washing brought up....

Gonna grab a cuppa now and do an online food shop....:D

I've managed to do a few bits today. DH took ds out to the park and to drop his suit to the dry cleaners and instead of sitting on my fat bum I set the timer for half an hour and managed to:
Hang up 2 loads of washing
    Put wm on
    Put ds's new clothes away
    Make our bed
    Change the cot sheet
    Put dry towels away
    Hang up new calendar

    And later i
Hung up more washing and put yet another wash on
    Loaded dw
Took ds new books to his room
Took spare lightbulbs upstairs and stashed wine in rack

    I still need to:
    Hang up final washing
    Unload dw when finished

For now I'm enjoying Internet time and dh is playing ps3, we're going to watch a film at 9
Order charcoal filter for cooker hood
Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j
