Friday - last list of the Year
Tidy, tidy, tidy - it will make cleaning much easier Done – I've been doing this as we've gone along, and am satisfied the bungalow is as tidy as I can get it just now.:o
Clean WM/DW filters and put through on a clean cycle WM done; we have no DW
HHI - some of you must be near the bottom of your pile now None to do!!
There will be when the wash I did overnight is dry, but Mr LW will handle this on Sunday.:A
HHPaperwork - I know it's boring but it needs to be done All up to date:p
Wipe handles and switches, door, cupboards anything aim for 10 Wiped every available surface/appliance/switch in the kitchen:D
S&S sinks and loos Done
Sort out your glasses, do you have enough for any get togethers or do you have too many that you never use? Adjust as necessary - lovely ones can be picked up at the charity shop often at a good price. Did this a couple of months back, and donated 17 1-pint beer glasses to the CAMRA tombola!! :eek:We don't have get-togethers, so really only need enough for us and Mr LW's pal when he visits.:o
Count some blessings from the year gone by. WIP – I still can't get over having such a wonderful, helpful, non-complaining DH.:A
Msgnomey welcome to the "ouch, it hurts like a booger" club. Have a gentle Wolfy (((HUG))) - being very careful not to tread on your foot, of course.:D And *raspberries* to your OH.
Mr LW's office shut at 15:00 today, so he'll be home soon, and we're going to pop to the bank to pay in my cheque for having Sidney, then do a final (for this year) raid on Mr T.
Pizza for dins tonight - the base is done, I think I'll get Mr LW to help construct the topping, as my paws are not good today - I don't have very good fine motor control iyswim, so I'll get him to do the chopping of onion etc.;) Don't want Lady's Fingers on it, do we?:rotfl:
Shoulders are still bad, but today I'm in "f*** this, I'm not letting it beat me" mode, and pushing through the pain. I may live to regret this.......:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Belated Christmas greetings and an early Happy New Year. I have been following the lists loosely this week but haven't had any time to post. Christmas was ok but we are definately going to go away next year. The best bit was going to church on Christmas Day, they did a nativity service and at one point switched the toy baby for a rather newborn one...it was lovely!
Anyway, we are off on holiday early tomorrow morning, skiing to Austria. Most of the stuff is on the bed ready to pack so just making a list for the rest of today and I will try and finish off the flying list too.

HHI, come on you can clear that pile by the New Year

P.s one routine i wil;l be doing with ds1 is 5 min tidy up time of his toys and if he does it all week il treat him to something like the park after school or a lollipop on the way back from school etc, i really need him to learn now rather than later i was tought like this but when mum had another 2 kids with step dad they got spoilt and dont listen to what she says they are 16 and 13 and spoilt.
I had to earn for things, my bro n sis get pocket money for doing nothing??? how does that work and they get £10 each a week
Im 26 next month and i got £2.50 a week lol but i saved and have a good concept of money they dont do anything round the house, well i hope i can pass on my knowledge with ds1 and 2 its never to early to learn is it sorry for waffling on...........
also forgot to add cleaned inside microwave with vinegar in a bowl and water.:rotfl:Ds2 born 3/4/12 8lbs 8.5:j

Well I have rested my foot in bed!!! and now I am feeling a bit stir crazy, just having some tomato and basil soup (yummy, carton from Aldi-def buying them again) with some garlic and rosemary focaccia. Then I may go and watch TV for a bit, I'm already bored Dr said that it could be weeks before my foot is back to normal ...... the good news is that the podiatry clinic rang and have managed to find me a quicker appointment on the 10th so won't have to wait quite so long!!! Hooray!!! I don't feel such a twit for crying when the receptionist told me initially that I'd have to wait until the 27th Jan (my foot really, really hurts!!)
OH has redeemed himself by fetching and carrying and plumping cushions and generally looking after me
Managed to reboot the laundry when I went downstairs....Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
I'm so bloody angry Ds2 asked if he could have one of my chocolates that OH bought me for Christmas and when i opened them there was 4 left. Last night there was 3/4 of a tray left and it's a massive box of dairy milk so you can imagine how many are gone. Ds1 has eaten them and can't see what he's done wrong because he didn't eat them all.
ooh, I know... one of our visitors did something similar a few years ago and has not been forgiven. Season of peace and goodwill to all; except if you eat my chocolate in which case, I will strike you down with great vengeance and furious anger:D
(The chocolate eating visitor didn't visit us this Christmas as he's blotted his copybook in other ways.)
Anyroad, the tree's still up in the hallway and cards still tucked between CD's and DVD's in the living room so they'll be there till New Year's Day. Laundry pretty much tackled (I can put away what's on the airer) and only a bit of washing up to do.
2012? I embrace the arts of meal planning and happily schedule in exercise.
Meanwhile, off to the kitchen to see off that Brie:rotfl:‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Do you have fussy eaters who go off stuff? Might it be worth a stockcheck in the new year?‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
