Morning ladies, hope all are well. Hope it isnt gout msgnomey as thats so painful (my dad suffers it a lot) but i do remember an old ortho consultant i worked for saying gout in females is as rare as rocking horse manure lol so fingers crossed for you.
Have had a lazy couple of days after the rellies went so need to crack on today. Have loads of leftovers that still need eating (thats one of the reasons i am eating mini lemon meringues for breakfast - well someone has to, i cant throw them away) so that will need some careful planning as there is little room in any of the freezers. We keep eating stuff and buying less so why are they still so crammed.
Spent yesterday evening filling in the 2012 diary and adding all DH's shifts into my new toy. Have also had a look at my budget which isnt great as i spent far too much this year and stupidly added quite a bit into my cc. I need to be very strict this year and am already planning on cutting back on the kids Christmas for next year.
Must get DD to bath doogie as well, she stinks!
Shower for me, then crack onMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Morning ladies,
So far I have,
cleaned the coffee machine
changed the cat litter
made a curry
WM on
Spoken to DM
I need to get showered, dressed, hair dried, straightened, full slap on, and be out for noon to meet some friends for lunch in the next town to me.
When i come home I intend having a nap (I will be tired after all that eating and talking) then doing HHI and HH tidying and HH paperwork.
Sounds like a plan.....Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift

I've been up since before 6 with the little monkey. Exhausted!
I have managed to hang a load of nappies out on the line and put another load of washing in. Dw also emptied and kitchen s&s'd.
We have bil and sol here so won't get loads more done, hopefully get another load dry and keep the kitchen tidy.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

HHI - some of you must be near the bottom of your pile now
I also need to wrap and hide DD's birthday presents while she is shopping with DSD, she stayed there last night as we went out for a friends birthday ( and she ended up not coming!!!!).
Then When she goes to bed we need to ty and inflate the remote control flying fish!!!
Also another friend text me yesterday about getting the kids together so that will depend on what time DD gets back from Cardiff.
Thanks to all for keeping the thread going guys, my flying aims for 2012 is to get more organised and get rid of the junk in the house x0 -
Morning all! The bits on the list today I've done already over the last two days, lol... so I've got another list I'll do for today which includes:
Make a big dent in the washing pile
Put away the Chrimbo deccies, minus the Christmas tree which will stay up a few more days
Mini blitz of boys rooms
Another stab at the mess called my bedroom
Have a good flying day all!

Only been able to skim read the thread:o
Well done to Mumof5's DD.
Wishing Valli's dad a speedy recovery
I hope all gets sorted with Vanilla's DH
Msgnomey - I hope you get your foot sorted soon, sounds very sore ouch
I've been so busy with work and dogsitting that flying has gone out of the window. It's great having a pet, I just love it but DH is not very impressed (he expects a puppy to be fully trained ) so we may not be able to keep her
she's a bit poorly today so a visit to the vet may be required. Hopefully it won't cost me much as we've not insured her as we weren't sure if we're keeping her.
I'm hoping I'll be able to do some flying today as it's my day off. I'm doing some bits from other days and Friday as well. So plans for today:
s&s kitchen and mop floor
vacuum downstairs
water plants
Friday - last list of the Year
Tidy, tidy, tidy - it will make cleaning much easier
Clean WM/DW filters and put through on a clean cycle
HHPaperwork - I know it's boring but it needs to be done
Wipe handles and switches, door, cupboards anything aim for 10
S&S sinks and loos
Count some blessings from the year gone by.
I'll come back with an update later on.:jBaby girl born 3rd October 2012:j0 -
