    Morning All

Wan to do quite a bi today but we'll see how I get on. I def need to do some ironing and more washing but I also want to sort the kitchen cupboards out and sort out my computer cabinet. My clothes also need sorting out and putting away and my wardrobe - don't think I'm going to have chance to do everything though. I've also got an AF delivery coming today so I'll need to put that away.

Valli- hope your dad's continuing to improve. My grandad's been in hospital all over Christmas and I don't think they're going to let him out until they've arranged some care for him.

G&B - how old's your DD now? She shares her birthday with my DD doesn't she?

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

  • Morning all,

Hope you've all had a great Christmas. I've been MIA since October - we went away for half term & I've never got back into flying :o & boy does it show in my house. We've been away at family since Boxing day & so today is the day to get the house back on track (ish).

    Heres my list for today:

Sort recycling/ composting (bins are overflowing). Check revised collection days
    S&S toilets and sinks
    Hoover whole house
    Mop kitchen & bathroom floors
    Clean out fridge
Change ALL the beds (kids will strip their own)
    Clean your kitchen sink
Get kids to put away their presents (neatly)
Get kids to clean their school shoes (rest of uniform is done)
Get SH to help DS sort his room ( DD's was done by me & her before Xmas & has stayed relatively tidy - its a miracle :T)
Put away all wrapping paper, tags and cards until next year (noting where!)
    Delete some emails, old links
    Recycle any Christmas catalogues etc

Wash, dry and iron any tablecloths, napkins etc

HHPaperwork - I know it's boring but it needs to be done. All my insurances run out on the 1/1 so I need to sort these.
Wipe handles and switches, door, cupboards anything aim for 10

Write a list of presents that need thank you notes
Phone somebody you forgot to send to or to thank them for their gift

Tidy, tidy, tidy - it will make cleaning much easier
HHI - some of you must be near the bottom of your pile now

HHPaperwork - I know it's boring but it needs to be done
Wipe handles and switches, door, cupboards anything aim for 10

Count some blessings from the year gone by.

Count me in for the Ironing challenge! - DS managed run into the lounge & send a glass of red flying up the cream curains so I have those to iron & rehang too. Luckily the stain did come out!

I am on a mission today & will update each time I have a cuppa!

I'm so bloody angry Ds2 asked if he could have one of my chocolates that OH bought me for Christmas and when i opened them there was 4 left. Last night there was 3/4 of a tray left and it's a massive box of dairy milk so you can imagine how many are gone. Ds1 has eaten them and can't see what he's done wrong because he didn't eat them all.

I'm just finishing my coffee and then i'll get back to it.

DW emptied, washing up done, DW filter cleaned, breakfast eaten. Need to put some washing on and go and look up yet more flights for work... As I got the bulk of the sorting out in the study done yesterday, today will be spent alternating between work and more sorting out and tidying up.

Well, here's me feeling all motivated and ready to fly and....my foot has swollen up like a balloon and I can hardly bear to put it to the floor :( got a Drs appointment at 10.10 will have to hobble down there, can't even get my trainer on with the laces taken right out so have a Velcro sandal on ATM (classy look). Luckily the Drs is at the end of my road so I should be able to hobble that far. It does mean that my plans for the day have been totally scuppered :( was meant to be visiting a friend and staying the night, will have to take a rain check until the New Year I think.

So far this holiday I have
cleaned out the cupboard under the sink
tidied and rearranged the cupboard where I keep Pyrex etc
sorted through food cupboards and chucked out of date stuff
shredded lots of old bank statements and other assorted paperwork
tidied, decluttered and rearranged my desk (including the drawers and book shelf end bit)

so although I can't do much today I have already done quite a bit thank goodness, I'd be peeved if I had been leaving all of the jobs to do next week to do before I go back to work, if I even make it to work (depends on the foot!!)

    I suspect gout!!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

Ouch mrsg - hope it gets sorted out soon.

AF delivery has just arrived so I'm going to sort that out and sort out my food cupboards at the same time to make some room for it.
