I would also like to know about Bournemouth, Castelpoint or Poole.. any helpers please? xx

Hi, not looked over Bournemouth yet but Poole had quite a bit of sale stuff left wednesday. I don't think as much as last year as one row completely cleared and being filled with suncreams already. Also not as much variety, quite a few of the same things that were filling the shelfs. HTHs
  • I would love to know what stock levels are like in Maidenhead/Oracle Boots in Reading/Boots in Broad Street in Reading. I'm especially interested in any No7 items/small makeup kits/FCUK overnight bag (which is already 75% off) ........ anyone been to these stores recently ? Thanks very much

I've been in France since Sunday (home now) and won't have a chance to get to town until later next week. Does anyone know what stock levels are like in Southend now?

Erm...YES. I remember last year as they unlocked the doors and we all bustled in, everyone hurrying down the main isle, and me and a woman I'd met the previous evening (while we were casing the joint just before closing time) diverted off to the right and down the side isle. As my hurry turned into a gallop I can actually remember thinking to myself "You are RUNNING into a sale - you have sunk to new depths". The year before I also experienced women with trollies they'd robbed from Asda just going in and with one arm just sweeping entire shelves of cosmetics off straight into the trollies. Its like carbooters in a rugby scrum.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: You are so right! My first 75% sale was at Lakeside, and my mate and I had done exactly the same thing the night before, and she was yelling "Come on!" - but we did get some lovely stuff. I think now there are so many more people consulting this site - and why not? - that the "scrum" has probably increased 10 fold. Good luck one and all. :)

    xx

I was in a store this morning getting the vits, the sa asked if I wanted to use my points, when I said no she asked if I was saving them for anything special, I said no not really, unless they reduce the Christmas stuff more and she said "Oh yeah, but don't ask when that will be as they don't even tell us"
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

Hardly anything in Maidenhead, basically only one of the upstairs aisles of sale stock left which is unusual. Not sure about the specific items you've mentioned.

Aylesbury seems to have more stock today than earlier in the week. I do wonder why they are leaving surrounding displays shelves emptyish. Dont they usually fill shelves with something else rather than leave them empty;)
  • Hi, does anyone know what the stocks are like at Castlepoint or Bournemouth town centre please, we have major roadworks going on close to me and it would mean setting off really early to get anything worth having and I don't want to waste my time dragging there if theres nothing worth going for, Thanks in advance

    Is that you Rowena? ;0)
Castle point, winton & Boscombe pretty empty. Haven't been in to town yet to check it out.

    They probably have a planner.
