Went to Leeds Albion Street today and they still have loads of wrapping paper, christmas cards, bird cage mirrors, mugs and white cranberry soap.

I popped into the Chequers Centre branch in Maidstone this afternoon, on the offchance, and I didn't see a single sale item left - not even a ripped open cardboard carousel. There were just bare shelves where most of it had been, and staff were putting out sun creams on some of the smaller shelves.

Only a few mugs left in the seven oaks store today

went into my local and they had 1 gok drawer set left. when i looked in the drawers it looked like there was 1 item missing so they offered to reduce it further but the till wouldnt do it. i also bought a travel mug set. they messed about with the tills and although i had to pay £7.50 for the gok set, i ended up paying 31p for the travel mug instead of £3.75. so the gok set ended up costing me just over £4. when i got home the missing item had been hiding in the back of the drawer all along.

not much else in there apart from crackers, a few jamie oliver burger sets, loads of taco sets and loads of mugs. think i might try out a few of the other locals tomorrow, see what they have

Hello back to you!! I only read the message now, yesterday I was in Magee doing my exam (3 hrs and 10 pages - both sides long). I went over to the Fairhill as you suggested and got some lovely things, there was hardly anyone there.

Hi everyone, popped into Beckton London yesterday at Galleons Reach and there was a fair bit left. Picked up £120 worth of stuff, obviously discounted! Mugs, botanics, project D, umber to g, fern cotton, lipsy eyeshadows and Xmas cards and wrapping paper for next year. No fragrance sets. They did have a lot of gift experiences like champneys spa days etc still.

Good luck if anyone ventures out.

Went into Chatham store
Hardly had anything left really a lot of 2012 make your own desk top calandar

I got 2 mugs ( found one was chipped when i got in though grr)
Wish Cranberry Soap - which i had an extra 10% as the box was ripped. was £5.40 now 90p

Then in a clearance section i got
Cars Flannel
La Roche Posay Skin stuff 50ml

However my reciept shows that may have been discounted even more
For example the mugs had a label of £3.50 on but on the reciept it says orgianlly rthey were £3.15 and then I got them for 52p each
the flannel had a £1 sticker on clearance and on the reciept it was charging 90p and then I was charged 15p for them
again in the clearance I picked up the La Roche sKINCARE, the clearance label had £1.20 but I was charged £1.08

So very confusing but saved even more than the 75% off!

Actually a staff discount of 22% would mean 22% off 50% discounted goods. This would be an additional 11% off the original price giving a total discount of 61%. To get a total discount of 72% your staff discount would need to be 44%.

If people are going to get sarcastic when correcting someone else's maths they should check that they are actually correct!
