I'm going back this morning, wish I had not put back a few things. I will report on stock levels.

This is how I am feeling...wishing I had brought more, but in the manicness of it all I just wanted to get in and out asap, plus just didnt have the room to hold stuff! Must be more organised next year& take my ikea bag/write a list!!!! :A Good to know you can still return stuff at 75% off too, I wont have to think as hard, just buy it there and then, then go home and ask myself the vital questions..do I really need it?!
  • a lot of people are mentioning on here about returning goods does this include toiletries please? still trying to work out if I over-indulged no problems if not as they will all come in eventually!!! - just asking as I know Next won't refund gift sets etc

 I thought we were all quite civilised this morning, we had a couple of people with shopping trolleys (you know the wheel along things, not supermarket trolleys) but no-one was pushing or name calling!

I think it was because it was lunch time every one was going a bit mad, i had literally just walked up to an isle with nothing in my hands having a look and got called a vulture, she was lucky i didn't respond because she looked like a vulture!
  • popped into Boots this morning - it was really full of stuff yesterday - this morning - tumbleweeds..........Do you think they have anything left to re-stock or is that it? Im sure the staff will be glad its all over!!

I wished I had got more after I unpacked it all at home and it didn't look as much, but in fairness, this was purely my hoarding gene kicking in :rotfl: - I got as much as I needed, and anything else would have just hung around at home with no-one to gift it to and taking up valuable space. My bank balance also thanks me for not going back round for a second visit after I'd filled up the car as did cross my mind :D!

I do wish I could do it all again today though, it was a real buzz! They don't call it retail THERAPY for no reason!

Can't say what I bought cos my best buddy reads this and some is for her!! :T

I even resisted going into ANY other shops too whilst I was there....was tempted to look for the Daisy red set that was on offer (Debenham?)...mind you, was pretty much carrying all I could manage!

Oh, and believe you me, it's very hard to take pretty things back that were 75% off!! You want to do it, you plan to do it, but somehow it just never happens!!
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

    Worth it though!

Also can I return items bought from shop a to shop b? Is easier for me to park at b as came home this evening, to find 3 huge bags of boots bags full of tat, apparently from OH to cheer me up as I miss the sale.

Poor dear din have a slightest clue what's hot and what's not, according to him , he is the only male there , and he just pick up whatever the ladies around him have chosed. People must be pretty desperate

He had to drop ds at his mum then get to town thus by the time he got there's I suspect mist good things , I.e. fcuk, Joules, Ted baker has gone. The way he describe the ladies around him was quite funny. He told me SAs were hiding in the stock room and people were banging on the door asking if there's any more coming out!

Btw this is at Newcastle Eldon square

 There are not many men who would go sales shopping to cheer someone up, never mind battling through the boots sale scrum... and emerging with three huge bags full!!!
I would be overjoyed if my man did that (no bloomin' chance of that, lol!). After the effort it took to get there, and get through the madness, it shouldn't even matter what he bought, you should just take it as a lovely gesture :). Maybe return a few bits, but not all of it - or he may not bother next time! lol.

Looking forward to your update :), I'm meeting a friend in town this afternoon but if I hear good things then I may go a little early ;).
  • Just a reminder for anyone who has picked up a S&G tin to give as a present (I also posted this yesterday). My tin has a voucher inside with an expiry date of 28th February 2012, which you may wish to remove!! ;)

I also got a NIVEA Feel Festive box in the Sainsbury's 70% sale a couple of weeks ago. That has a coupon in with an expiry date of 28/02/12.

If you are saving these items to give as gifts next Christmas you maybe wouldn't want the recipient to think you were a cheapskate buying them in the sales?? :rotfl:
  • Any info on Milton Keynes/Bletchley/Kingston? Thanks :)
