Boots 1/2 Price Sale

if I remember rightly the card on the boxed mugs said "wish" on a heart shaped cardboard type tag.

i got a santury orange bag for 6.25, so presume it must have been originally £25. there was no labellingon it but the SA looked in the boots xmas book and discounted it down. however, it seemed to sealed with a plastic tag but when i opened it at home only 3 items in and a bit packaging. cant believe it would have been £25 and wonder if something was missing. can any one advise how i can find out if stuff is actually missing from it?

Best thing to do at the moment is try and find it on EBay - is this it?

that box had 5 bottles in it and a litte packet - think its a face mask? im sure the box i got was already opened, but i think it did include 6 items orignally

ta moromir, would love to update but cannot access t'internet at work, funnily enough they frown on non-work activities in work time....;) if I can manage to work my phone then will see if I can get on here for a min or two when on a loo break or something, lol!

I got some of the mugs for DD1's nursery key people before Christmas on 3 for 2 (she had 3 last year :eek: and as she's starting school this year thought they'd make nice teacher/TA gifts for next Christmas!)

I bought this - to be honest it is ok for the money we paid today but would never pay £25 and yes there were only 3 items in it - think this is about the only item that I wonder if I should have left on the shelf

Also can I return items bought from shop a to shop b? Is easier for me to park at b as came home this evening, to find 3 huge bags of boots bags full of tat, apparently from OH to cheer me up as I miss the sale.

Poor dear din have a slightest clue what's hot and what's not, according to him , he is the only male there , and he just pick up whatever the ladies around him have chosed. People must be pretty desperate

Aw thats sweet of him to try though mmmkbb! My male best friend (since I lack an OH) just tuts and expects this sort of madness from me these days, well, to be fair.. I have been force feeding him vitamins for the last week...

What a very lovely gesture and actually very thoughtful of him to see what others were choosing. I hope you didn't tell him that you thought he'd bought you a load of old tat:cool:. You obviously have a real gem there. Perhaps you could return the items without him knowing so as not to hurt his feelings. I would be really touched if my OH did this for me....regardless of what he came back with...and yes, you can take stuff back to a different store. I imagine there will be dribs and drabs of returns over the next week as people rationalise from the madness of grabbing and throwing into baskets. Lord knows I would take the Glee perfume back if I hadn't already binned the packaging, it's gross, I'm not sure I would even use it as a toilet spray....
